I did not know you had such anger just talking about the game for a minute first impressions are running fine on iPad Pro 2nd generation
My user name is not a swear word. I've used it on hundreds of games. The first impression I had of this game is that I could not make an account using my regular user name so had to create a new one. First world problem for sure, but annoying in any case. No anger. The game plays fine.
Someone knows if its possible to buy cards ( not packs )? Maybe on an online shop? Or is it possible to trade cards?
Wow, I didn't realize how much I'd appreciate having this available on iOS! So handy, I find myself actually playing it, unlike with the PC version. (Plus, I had decided to stick with MtGO instead of Arena since I had already spent $$$ there and you could easily buy single cards.) But now that Arena is on mobile, I am finding it irresistible, which means there goes all my $$$ Plays incredibly well on my original 12.9" iPad Pro, and while I was concerned about seeing all the cards on the screen on my iPhone 11, the clicking on cards to read descriptions, etc works out very well and doesn't slow down flow o gameplay for me at all. Wish you could buy or trade single cards, but so far I haven't found that possible. When you buy packs or get rewards, they often include 'wildcards' which let you craft into the specific cards you want, so all hope isn't lost. I'll have to see how long it will take me to build a deck with 3 or 4x of certain cards....
Cool restasurred it plays great for 2nd generation iPad Pro as well don’t know why the device list says iPad Pro 3rd generation only
There’s free packs for ya’ll here, but you can only redeem them through logging in to the arena website and redeeming in there: https://cardgamebase.com/mtg-arena-codes/
Great version of Magic, and a super fun reintroduction to a game I haven't been able to play in many, many years since moving out into the world and misplacing my old physical collection somewhere along the way. The only painful part is the steep pricing if you want to unlock enough cards to build specific decks. I got spoiled badly playing Legends of Runeterra where you could build just about anything after a week or two of playing. This is going to be a much, much slower grind, but that's ok as long as you don't have expectations that you'll always be able to make whatever deck you want or ride with meta changes as they occur.
