I have to agree ... I love the game so far but the only time I played it was the old PC game from MP ... almost 20 years ago. I would also benefit a kind of manual for the Deck Builder ...
The rules of thumb are really to have 1/3 countries, and try to get as much synergy between cards as possible.
You have no control over the lands in your deck. The game auto assigns lands according to the overall casting cost of your cards. This is another one of the reasons traditional deck building knowledge is unnecessary to get into the game.
Yes you have gone as far as possible in the trial version, 3 decks with five unlocks each. if you pay $10 you will get the ability to unlock the seven remaining decks plus the 30/30 card unlocks in each one.
I finally got around to going to a store an using my promo card from the app. It was a piece of cake to do so. It's kind of neat to have a physical representation of some of the cards I've been playing with. I'm sticking with the digital game though.
How many decks do you get in the free version? I signed up with a new gc account and i only get two, a red and a green deck. I thought you got three to start with.
I saw this and thought it was a new card for the digital deck. When i saw it was only an actual booster, I didn't care.
I thought it was blue crosswinds deck. I remember really wanting a white and a black deck to try before I bought the full game
I think in the trial you also get a blue deck. You have to scroll past the red and green deck. I'm not sure why they didn't just place the 3 free decks next to each other.
I actually defeated that deck with Chandra's creature/burn. Just make sure you have lots of nuke. Burn it down before it gets big. Put in all of your nukes and remove your creatures with high casting cost for now. Alternatively, Jace's dream puppets will work well. Buy some time with unsommon and into the foil, and deplete his library. Enchant creature if it is too big. Remember, encounters only have 33 cards in their library. Good luck.
Is there anything more frustrating than when you desperately need a creature/enchantment/instant/etc and for 5-6 turns all you get is land cards?
The only thing more frustrating than that is if you're one turn away from winning, provided you draw any one of numerous cards, and then find yourself in that scenario of drawing nothing but land cards until your opponent wins. It's happened to me so many times using the Dream Puppets deck.
I had Odric in revenge mode down to 4 health. He had barely any creatures present. I kept getting land after land after land. That's the closest I've gotten to killing him. Sadface.jpg
