    Log out and back in?
In any case I would wait but when this is permanent, I would forget the game and get the ten bucks back.

In regards to refunds, Apple NEVER rejects a refund request and I have been getting refunds for three years. If you don't like it, or its bugged, or too difficult, whatever. It's 'customer satisfaction guaranteed'.

not here. logged out of gamecenter, and then logged back in, but everything is still locked. I guess the damage has been done (data overwritten) and I lose.

now I need to decide if I want to play the whole thing over again, just to unlock those decks so I can compete in multiplayer again, or give up and get a refund...

I lost all my progress as well. But now I can't even OPEN my game. It crashes every time it tries to load up.

Edit: seems to certainly be a Gamecenter issue. When I log out and try to load the game without the Game center it works just fine, but with no progress saved. It recognizes that I bought the full version though. If I log into the Gamecenter then Magic2013 crashes

Found a fix that worked for me!

Log out of the Gamecenter. Load Magic 2013. When it asks for your GC ID hit cancel. Now the game is loaded and you have zero progress. Go back to Gamecenter and log in. Switch back to Magic and it'll say "you've been sent back to the start screen because you changed Gamecenter accounts." Now when you hit "Start" it will load your proper profile with all your progress.

At least that's what worked for me.

I loved the game... Three of my friends came to my house yesterday and we decided to each buy the game to spent an evening playing 4-players game of Two-Headed Giants and Planswalkers... But after having paid $40 ($10 each). We find out it is not a game option!!

Why can we not play those 2 game modes at 3 or 4 human players? I have 0 interest of playing those with AI...

Is it something that will be coming in an update? I would have give a 5* to the game but now... Half of it is enough... 2 1/2*

    :(

    Damage dealing bug?

Love this game! I got a beginner's set of Magic back in the mid-90's that I tried to force my friends into playing, but I never really got to play it as much as I wanted. I remember playing the microprose PC game when that came out. Memories! :)

Anyway, I've been enjoying this game very much but I have noticed an annoying bug that seems to pop up from time to time. When casting the Inferno Titan, the damage dealing sometimes go awry. For instance I choose Creature for 1 damage, then Player for 1 damage (selecting the opponent) and then when I tap Player for the last damage point, the game skips and suddenly the damage is assigned to me!

I've seen this happen with other cards when assigning damage from time to time. Has anyone else encountered this?

I'm not certain, as I can't remember that card off the top of my head, but perhaps it's simply the way it is designed to work. If it stats you deal damage to three different targets and you already picked your opponent, then the only player left to assign damage to is yourself, so as soon as you hit "players" it goes ahead and sends the damage on it's way since there's no choice to make.

Again, I'm not positive, but that could very well be the case.

well I dig the game too much to bail on it, so I bit the bullet, and paid to unlock the two decks I had previously earned. by unlocking born to flame, it took me no time to get to odric, and after beating him, I paid to unlock peacekeepers (which is what I was using online). sucks to pay the extra $2, but there is no way I was going to play through to unlock sixty cards for free, since there would be no learning (as I had already played through)-my time is simply worth more than that. I guess I can take solice in the fact that when/if this happens again, it will not take anytime to make myself whole again.

disappointed to have a sour taste in my mouth about this, though, as this is not the experience we should be getting from a premium-priced app. but this, too, shall pass...

edit to add: still notice a disconnect between the gamecenter leaderboard scores (which are where they were before the lost progress snafu) and the in-game player status scores, which reset to 1600 when the game lost all my progress. the scores in-game are still increasing from 1600, but gamecenter shows my original (higher) score. I wonder if it will start counting again once my in-game scores catch up (again). not that the leaderboards mean that much to me, but i would like to see everything working again as it should (esp. for a $10 app)...

Somebody explains to me fog bank please
It is a defender 0/2 and even if I attack it with 5 it never gets destroyed. I this normal, if so then cad description is poor.

Read the card's text, not just the numbers: It states that all combat damage done to cloud bank or done by cloud bank is ignored. Essentially that means that it is invulnerable while blocking attacks. You can kill it, but you have to do so outside of combat, either by using direct damage abilities or something like the card Prey Upon in Garruk's deck.

I read the text and it is not clear, there is just prevent damage dealt to or salt by fog.

And btw I attacked it with instants and nothing happened. Bah!cards in other games are so much clearer than in magic. Magic seems to like vague and debatle descriptions.

    The card reads:
How is that unclear or vague at all? All combat damage is prevented. Of course it doesn't die. How could it be more clear than it is? I've never encountered Fog Bank behaving in any way differently from what would be expected by what is plainly stated on the card.

Anyone else have problems playing against Double Trouble?

It's the opponent who puts down a 1/1 creature, then a 2/2, then a 3/3, then a 4/4 and with each turn each of those double in both attack and toughness. Unless u can kill him in a few moves he will pwn u like there's no tomorrow.

You therefore simply can't destroy it by damaging it but cards that allow you to simply "destroy" a card can still work and, even if your opponent finds some way to beef it up with enchantments so IT has some sort of power rating, due to that fog effect, it can't damage an your troops in direct combat either.

It means you have too many cards in your deck. The game only allows 90 at a time, I think. Either way, you should go to the deck manager and remove cards until you're at 60 or 61, which are the optimal deck sizes.

Jace's deck makes this encounter easy. Actually, all the encounters, except for the Bloodghast one. Most of them have tiny decks, and the one that doesn't plays so many Howling Mines that it makes your job a piece of cake.

Help me check this interaction out and let me know if it's a bug or a nuance of the rules.

I have a drake equipped with Ring of Evos Isle:
    2: equipped creature gains hexproof
at the beginning of your upkeep, if the equipped creature is blue, it gains a +1/+1 counter

Yeva plays Stingerfling Spider targeting my drake:
    Reach
When Stingerfling Spider enters the battlefield, you may destroy target creature with flying.

I respond by using the ring's hexproofing ability.

Yeva responds by playing Beast Within targeting my Ring of Evos Isle:
Destroy target permanent. Its controller puts a 3/3 green Beast creature token onto the battlefield.

I let this stack resolve. Both my ring and my drake end up destroyed. Why?

I expected the drake to survive but the ring to be destroyed.

Cards played in reaction to each-other are resolved last to first. How this played out was that the last card to be played, Beast Within, destroyed the ring. Then there was no more ring to use its effect on your drake, so the game moved on to the spider's ability, which was resolved and destroyed your drake.
