Yeah I was going to ask if it was being released tomorrow night. (I hope it is, because Batman: Arkham City comes out next week, and I don't think I would have time for MG or anything else for that matter)
Waiting for approval. If we get approval tomorrow, we'll release it on Thursday or even maybe Friday, if reviewers need the extra time. Otherwise we get to compete with Batman: Arkham City.
I am very much looking forward to this. Maybe I'll finally get around to playing Hook Worlds in anticipation.
All I'm saying is, Batman could beat Hugo Strange and play Mage Gauntlet simultaneously. Cause...you know....The Batman.
Yeah it´s an instant purchase for me too. I own every game from Rocketcat, those are my favourite games for the iDevices. I am very curious about them leaving the Hook genre and getting into RPGs, but I think that this will be an outstanding game. Keep up the good work Kepa. VERY looking forward to this.
Not on release, but first update will have us add in the first arena mode. And the first scoreboard, to go with it.
Mage Gauntlet has been relegated to the johh? Haha, j/k. I play a lot on the john too..with the sound off. To be honest, I have no idea what half of the games I play sound like.. Man..I can't wait for the game to be out.
I think the strength and popularity of the device (ipod Touch, iPhone) mostly has to do with playing it in the bathroom. iPad plans, since it comes up often: - iPad support on release is really dinky. It runs smoothly, and the controls work with the iPad in mind. No separate iPad version is planned. - I'm getting an iPad on the 17th. - First update will add more iPad support as I figure out what's needed, and get feedback. - The big first update thing will be "native resolution" support, which we slowly (and a bit too late) figured out is what people mean specifically when they say "iPad support". Just wanted to warn iPad users what they're getting, so they can just wait for the first update if they want. We're finally getting iPads, so support will be better in the future. I wouldn't mind making versions of future games specifically for iPad later, too. Take advantage of the bigger screen and processor. Plus the extra press coverage from releasing two versions.
So it's next week, huh? So hard to wait! SQH is my fallback ATM. (It's going to take me forever to "100%" it.)
Congrats on the incoming iPad, Kepa! So very glad to read about native res support for us tablet users. Welcome to the club!
So it seems... Seems this has been an extra long approval, hah. Oh well. I have a trip this weekend and next, so either weekend will give me considerable time to drop into it.
Darn, oh well it's all good because that means it releases one week closer to me getting my iPhone4S.
It's a perfect time for me to play the game since I don't have a lot of work this week, so hopefully I'll still have time next week to play it.
