Don't worry, it's not a real time chat ;-) I'm a typical casual gamer and an RPG beginner and I think it's challenging but not hard. Yes, I have an opinion: Mage Gauntlet is a masterpiece and has the best control system avaiable in iOS games scene.
Bummed that I just got this and the app crashed after I was hit by fire. Hoping that won't happen too often before they update with a fix. ALSO, I was really hoping somebody like Rocketcat & Madgarden would get hired to make a game just like this for The Hobbit movies. That would've made me so happy. As it is, we get a crappy dwarf city builder for the hobbit and awesome original IPs from these guys. Man, WB could've banked on these guys. I would've bought every Hobbit hat available! And ps. Please fix the crashes! I'd love to finish this one before I ever finish Punch Quest... If that's possible!
Is widescreen support something that will be implemented at all? Last I heard was that you guys had to choose to either go widescreen or stay as is and support older devices as unfortunately, you cannot do both -- have you guys decided? Cheers!
I decided to play through this one again since loosing my save during my last update, and I'm experiencing a LOT of crashing as well... iPad 2 - iOS 5.1.1 and iPod Touch 4th Generation - iOS 5.1.1 - almost always when I get hit by a projectile, sometimes when I try and do a strong attack. Hope this can get fixed soon. =o/
I'd wait on this one until they can fix the crashing issues. I've got crashes on an iPhone 4 with iOS 5.0.1. Haven't experienced the crash on my iPad 2 with iOS 6, but also haven't played as much on the iPad. I'll check back in if I get more.
Both are great games. That said, I got about 300X more enjoyment out of Mage Gauntlet. It's almost certainly my favorite iOS game of all time, and I've got around 1,000 games.
Man.. I love Mage Gauntlet. but I hope I can turn off IAP system in the Wardrobe. Can you make it possible? Everytime I open the Wardrobe, black market flashs like "oh i know you gonna buy these." but i think it's cheating. i don't want to get items in that way. I really hate it.. lol.
This needs iPhone 5 support, I'm addicted to this game but I can hardly play it because with my big screen, the controls feel strange.
Yeah, I know - I've just started deleting games that aren't supported by the 4inch screen. - it sucks that the controls basically go completely unresponsive if your fingers drift into the boarders... =o/
Well keep in mind there is some hope of a ton of games getting widescreen support soon. Apple changed the dev submission rules that any new app or update submission after May 1 MUST have retina and widescreen support. That is fantastic news as long as devs are continuing to support their games, even with bug fixes... Yeah - let's hope this means that more games get widescreen support instead of more games getting abandoned. =o/
