Yeah the world map is tricky, though, we'd have to redraw it otherwise which would be a surprising pain in the ass... I guess we could just extend the view and keep the proportions of the active area the same, instead.
why not up the games res. instead of lowering the text res. ,like you did with hook world !? also the games icon looks different from the one in the store !!?
Kepa I bought Mage gauntlet off iTunes store on my PC & sync to my iPhone. But I didn't receive any free IAP at all..
Submitted an emergency hotfix, will do the following if approved: - Removes OpenFeint due to the aforementioned compatability issues some people were having. Then some minor features we jammed in really fast: - Checks that achievements transfer over to Gamecenter if you decide to use it when previously using OpenFeint. - Adds an achievement browser to the game's main menu, so you can check achievement progress easily and actually read the text. It's really nice. - Just finally turns CHECK NEWS UPDATES to "Always", so it's more likely people get the Rocketcat Fan Pack right away. - Other small fixes like a couple of typos corrected. Going to SLEEP.
Kepa i really want to thank you for the awesome game, Im really enjoying it on my iPad 2.It would be awesome if the iPad version of the game would run at 60 fps.
Saved what I knew would be best to be my last game to try out. Mage Gauntlet is truly a masterpiece. A must-have for RPG fans, yet accessible enough even if it's your first RPG. It lives up to all of the hype; it deserves it. I'll be shocked if it doesn't make it as GOTW when Apple puts out their new charts tomorrow. Splendid game. Cannot wait to finish it, and then play it again. An absolute steal for $1.99. I currently have a little over two hours left to sleep since it's 5:13 AM, but yeah it was worth staying up trying out MG and the other releases. It's been a great week for the iOS.
How to get the early buyer bonus? I've played with no hats unlocked and not even a pet. The way I purchase is the same as Cybertox.
Bought it! I've always not so fond of hack & slash & grinding RPG like zenonia but I will give Mage Gauntlet a chance for it to shine!
A tip for all you who didn't get your hats.. Scroll down in inventory screen because hats doesn't appear in first rows but in the middle of inventory.. Maybe this is it.. I was also confused at first.. Great game.. Really like funny writting!
Please include iCloud save state sync so you can pick up and resume on every iOS device. That'd be a killer feature!
I've only played a few levels, but thus far... I love everything about it. The art, music, and classic action RPG gameplay with a slight twist - It's all great. How do you not love a game that has screens like this:
Thanks for the responses Kepa (not just to my questions, but to everyone's). It's been universally stated that an active dev on these forums makes a WORLD of difference in terms of overall experience with a game. You're really making a difference by showing that you're listening to what we all have to say! Thank you!
Nice! Played for one hour already. So far, loving it very much. The controls are spot-on, the graphics are beautifully retro. Have been randomly cutting the grasses and destroying barrels in hope for some random items. Definitely one of the best RPGs I've played in a while.
I just beat the first boss... SHEESH! I loved it from the second I started to control the main character. The absence of a D-Pad / Joystick for movement is PERFECTLY handled by an invisible area for movement. I wish I got a little something out of all the effort I put into slashing bushes, fruit and barrels though... Combat is fantastic and I absolutely LOVE the sprite-work. The magic effects are right on point and I hope the devs have updates planned for the future (how great would an online deathmatch mode be? Think NOX - the old PC game!) This really raises the bar for the Zenonias and Inotias out there in every possible way, and unfortunately has ended up spoiling me.
