Are we sure this ISN'T coming out Thursday? Or is it still a possibility to come out when the consoles release?

For the last time: Madden 10 homepage http://maddennfl.easports.com/home.action shows in the top right corner all the platforms it's being released on tomorrow, but no iphone. The EA mobile twitter says that it will not be released on the 14th but soon after or something like that and that they would update the product page for the iphone version soon. I am not a marketing genius but it makes absolutely no sense for them to just "surprise" everybody by releasing it tomorrow, without any mention of it at all. Geez, I would hate for some of you guys to take a whole 30 seconds to glance back through the thread and easily find this info!

I don't think they were expecting NFL 2010 when they posted that on their twitter. The NFL preseason has already started. They are going to get this out as soon as possible. The mobile is out. The consoles come out tonight. If they can get this out tonight, I'm sure they will. That said, it very well may not come out tonight...just don't be so damn arrogant to think that you are the exclusive holder of information on this thread.

I find it hilarious that you have any faith at all in what happens with either EA or the app store in general. Like I said, this may very well not come out tonight, but no one knows for sure, including you or twentyone.

Because Apple will do whatever it takes to get this out as soon as possible. There will be a VERY accelerated approval process for this title, as it will almost certainly be a top seller if not THE top seller in the app store. Could you link the twitter post where Craig specifically says that it isn't coming out tomorrow? I couldn't find it. I'd be interested to see the date it was posted.
