On Thursday we'll be releasing Mad Skills Motocross Blitz, a free mini-game based on the original Mad Skills Motocross (http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/mad-skills-motocross/id410229362?mt=8). We've decided to take a different approach than the typical "lite" game -- Blitz features six exclusive tracks that are unavailable on the full game. This way, not only is the game a great way for people who've never played to get a taste for it, but it's also a cool, free bonus for our current players who would otherwise have no interest in a lite game. Mad Skills Motocross Blitz, as well as the next update to the original game, also have a new feature we call the "play up" option. After you've finished a track and beat the AI, you're presented with your current global position on that track, as well as a button that will line you up against another player's time who's slightly better than you on the leaderboards. An example: It's a great way to methodically dial in a track, and thus get better at the game overall. It's also a cool way to find other players who have a similar skill level, which can result in some great challenges. Mad Skills Motocross Blitz will be live on the App Store on Thursday, Sept. 29.
