Then you will need a connection to download more tracks. You don't have to stay connected once more tracks are downloaded though. Basically, internet is not required to play the game. It's just required to download tracks. Once downloaded you can play without internet. You can even set times in Jam mode offline. Whenever you reconnect it will upload your time to the leaderboard. The original Mad Skills Motocross is one of my all time favourites, I played every last level on it. But in that game you really feel the control of the bike, if you want to do a wheelie then you do it yourself, in this game its like "press here to go over these bumps in the most efficient way". There is no feel for the physics, you just hit the jump button at the right time and the guy does the rest (chooses the hight, automatically does angles for the landing).
