No problem man and thanks! From what I've heard is we'll more than likely see MP in the next episode. Also, the devs are working on a performance update that won't take out retina support. YAY! Edit Not to sound cocky or like a "know it all", but I think if they implemented a lot of what I said in my impression, the controls would absolutely be beast. (wow, can't believe I said beast, I think this is the second time now)
Very laggy on iphone 4... Shadowgun runs much smoother. Maybe devs should think on removing lighting or detail or something like that, so that it's more fluid. And yes, I closed all apps, rebooted phone, etc., but it's laggy IMHO.
wow... it's laggy as hell on my 4th gen touch, but that's to be expected... I thought it'd run great on an iPhone... =o/
Hmm...it's laggy, but not uberly bad especially when considering all the other laggy games that have been released. It's definitely not as smooth as Shadowgun, but what is? But yeah, the lag was something I expected too! Hopefully, it only improves from here.
yeah, it's incredibly laggy on my 4th gen... even after a hard reset and no wi-fi... oh well... they said they're working on making the performance better... so here's hoping it works out.
I'm still surprised to hear "incredibly". Maybe I'm just happy it's not a mess like some others or maybe I haven't advanced far enough. I'll report back later.
yeah, I even wound up clearing up some HD space to see if that helped... it did a little... but not much. I went from 4 GB of free space up to 8... =o/
I'm at less than a gig of space at the moment (375mb to be exact).Trying to manage my space is getting pretty crazy.
I can't manage my space anymore. It's not even possible. I have probably over 450 apps now. A large number of them are premium. This includes virtually every premium Gameloft game. There are games that take over 3GB to download and install straight to your phone.
Finally got around to picking up this game... and overall loving it... its been a blast for me! Runs and looks great on my new 4S, very challenging and addictive trying to blast and grind my way through the levels, to level up etc. I also played it on ipod 4... which overall the experience between it, and my 4S is night and day. So I can definitely relate to what others are saying playing on ipod 4 etc...
That's right, M.U.S.E. is a candidate for TouchArcade's Game of the Week! If you want it to make the cut, nominate it for voting in this thread. Note: This poll is for existing TouchArcade members only. Developers may not nominate/vote for their own games, nor bring outsiders in to vote.
Game is good. But the controls suck. can't aim very well with half the screen used for movement. they should fix this in an update
Which device are you playing on? I found the controls very difficult on ipod touch gen 4 because of the lag. But got a 4GS... and the controls feel great... very solid, and fun game.
I'm playing on an iPod 4 abd the lag is present but it's not horrible, especially when I compare it to other new games that have been released lately. Ultimately, I think he meant the controls more than the lag. Here's what I wrote earlier about them. Both need to be worked on (lag and controls) The reason I made looking around separate from lag was because everything else is mostly smooth. I think some of it has to do with auto aim sensitivity as well. Still this is my favorite shooter on iOS currently. Shadowgun is epic, but there wasn't enough and ultimately they're different games. I prefer this one a tad bit more.
Only spend some time with the game so far, but: Am i missing something or is there no level select, so one could go back and repeat earlier levels to level-up stats some more? A customizable control layout would be appreciated, too. Other than that, fun game with a lot potential.
