I like where this conversation headed as opposed to where I thought it was going. XD I'll drop all formal charges now. :p Guess there's nothing left to say about that.

    BACK ON TOPIC PEOPLE!!!

I take as well as I give ;).

Back on topic, on the upcoming thread I believe the dev made it clear it's story-based.

Hmm played for about 15 minutes and I must say that the controls just aren't responsive enough. Shooting and movement is just difficult on my iPod touch 4G. I even tried to adjust the look sensitivity to no avail.

Other than that the game is pretty good.

You are able to control your aim even after you begin shooting. Once the shoot button is pressed any movement by that finger will move your aim while shooting :)

OPTIMIZED FOR THE LATEST iOS HARDWARE
Optimized for iPhone 4S, iPad 2, iPad, iPhone 4, and iPod touch 4th gen.

    * iPod touch 4th gen owners: Please close all apps in the task tray and restart device before playing M.U.S.E. Users may need to reduce the number of installed apps in order to preserve game memory stability. *
    * iPhone 3GS owners: M.U.S.E. plays best on iPhone 4S, iPad 2, iPad, iPhone 4, and iPod touch 4th gen. Performance may not be optimal on your device.

It does not automatically rule you out :) Those are just steps to troubleshoot IF you encounter any issues. We are yet to see anyone encounter such issues but we are making every effort to keep on top of supporting those who play our game

I've been playing this for the last week... and am experiencing quite a bit of lag on my 4th gen touch. It's not surprising because of the lack of RAM... but just wanted to let you guys know... there is a chance that lag could be an issue if you've got a 4th gen touch.

Agreed, this is a known issue for iPod Touch 4th Gen. users given the amount of RAM. With that said we are already well on our way to an update that will remedy the problem areas for our iPod Touch 4th Gen. players :)

    FANTASTIC to hear this!!!

I would even go for removing the retina display, and just having it look like it does on 3rd gen devices... retina is not really a big deal for me though... but if it would run like butter on a 4th gen touch without retina... count me in for someone willing to give it up. =oD

If you're planning on removing retina, please mention it sometime...like, reasonably soon (now >_>) because this could affect a LOT of people's decision to pick this up.

Removing retina is NOT an option for us. Our update will not include making that change, but will still result in much better performance on iPod Touch 4th Gen. It will still be the same great, awesome looking game that you are seeing :)

I don't think we will remove retina support, i think the best solution for ipod touch users is an optimized build for their devices that removes elements that are not necessary to the experience.

Can retina be something you turn off or on? (forgive my childish question)

I don't know if that's actually a possibility, but numerous games allow you to download HD assets from within the game itself. With a game this big though, I don't know if that's a good idea.

More or less, its not a switch of a button sort of thing. It means more that we push higher resolutions in order to highlight the retina display that the devices have  No one wants to see low res fuzzy things!!!
