So, I'm not making this thread to just make one honestly, I get sick when all people do is whine and talk shut. I don't know how this thread will be taken either, for a few reasons. One, I'm not sure if any of you listen to hip hop or rap. Two, this guy is a black Muslim, so that might turn people off(hopefully they are respectful about it). Now with that said, I want to start a thread about a great artist. He has grown up to become successful, in his early childhood, he was poor and had nothing really. It is great to have seen him make it and for these reasons. One, he speaks truth, he is not afraid to talk his opinion and stand up. Two, he stays real. He has constantly been bringing out hits and not crap like dr. Dre and 50 cent and all these other famous rappers lately. His new song, words I never spoke, has seen a lot of acclaim, and also a lot of hate. It talks about serious topics and I think lupe does a great job stating his beliefs. He is probably my favorite artist right now and deserves some recognition. I dont want this thread to turn in some retarded hate fest so if you disagree or don't care then just move on. Haha, I have most of his stuff on my Mac, and the new and classics on my phone. He really hasn't put out a song I didn't like. Hope he keeps it up but he has for a while now, several years. Go to sleep is also one of my favorites currently.
The Cool is my favorite album from Lupe, but very much looking forward to Lasers. I wanna find some money and pre-order the Deluxe package.
