I completely agree with you. Bought it today and deleted it instantly. A waste of money.

The intro song is called Tsubasa.. English would be Wings, I guess?

One issue I've been having with the game, though it could just be me, is that anytime I open the app, it immediately kicks me in to wherever I was when I closed it last. Even when I close it completely in multitasking and turn my phone off/on. There seems to be no way to get back to the menu screen I got when I first loaded up the game. Has anybody else encountered this issue? Again, this could be me not knowing what I'm doing. I'm running it on an iPhone 4 recently updated to iOS6.

Other than that, from what I've seen so far, this is a great port. I love all the control options. Lunar remains my favorite RPG and being able to have it on me at all times is wonderful.

Really? That's the stupidest thing I've ever heard. Your deleting it based on a few faults that could easily be handled in a simple patch or update. If you've already just played the game and have it on psp then, i don't really get why u would download it again here. What were you expecting? As with most RPGs porting to touch screen is alot more difficult. Your making it sound like this is a terrible port and a bad game. All that's doing is keeping other intrested people away from trying the game.

SkyMuffins review was completely accurate a fine port of a great game, I hate people that nitpick on every little thing and skew the reception of what the game really is. Worst of all you just copied someone else post to speak for your self only to add that you deleted it. Pretty lame...

^ Now this I can agree with

*Posted so people looking at the end of the thread get the right opinion. Not some ill conceived dribble.

I honestly question that he actually bought the game. Seems like a troll post to me, but whatever...

Long time reader of TA and a lurker on the forum, registered an account finally just to show some love for this port. Silver Star Story was one of my first games after I got gifted a Sega CD and I fell in love with it and its sequel. For anyone stumbling by, don't buy into what the detractors are saying.

This is a great port with only minor issues at worst. Everything looks and sounds great. The battles controls are excellent. I've not even had a problem selecting who I want to heal when two characters are overlapping a lot. I feel pretty confident what problems do exist will be patched out. Lunar is truly one of the greatest RPG's ever in my mind (rivaled by its sequel). I really enjoyed that the port uses stuff from the PSP dub as well; feels like a definitive version to me.

That being said, I am having the same issue as sidewalkends. I can't find a way to get back to the main menu besides having my party wiped out. Also for some reason, when there, the setting button is darkened out and can't be selected. Minor issues, in my book, or it could just be a case of me overlooking something in my zeal to play. Still, just got through the White Dragon Cave so it's not hampering my experience.

If the devs are taking suggestions for future releases/ports, then here's a serious vote for Lunar: Eternal Blue Complete. I love that game just as much; if not more. Its the reason I tend to use Hiro for online handles.

Shake your device! It will give you a dialogue asking if you want to return to the main menu. They only mentioned this once at the beginning-- i missed it also haha.

No extra characters (party is very much story driven), but there are definitely secret extras.

If you mean the statusbar on the right hand side of the map in Vay, that's gone. And the menus in Lunar keep the in-game look and feel.

This is intended (it's what most people claim they wanted and something everyone said they like about Vay). However, if you don't want that feature, close Lunar, open the Settings app, and turn "autoresume" off.

Or, as the popup said when you started, just shake the device while you're playing the game. :)

I just started playing and in the beginnin it says if you shake your device you go to the main menu, not the most natural thing but it works!

I am really not a fan of the dpad. I wouldn't mind a static one for horizontal mode. Also if you go to general settings and the lunar tab, you can have it auto load to the menu.

The type of dpad that appears where you tap your finger is great. I dont know what people are thinking. Please don't change it.
