Never played any of the Lunar games. Have always wanted to, just never got around to it. Was really close to getting the PSP version to play on my Vita a month ago. Now $7 for a version I can always have with me on my phone? Insta buy. Anyone hear anything about whether or not this will support cloud saves? Would be awesome to play on phone while out and iPad while at home.
It does not currently support cloud saves, unfortunately. Believe the dev is looking into this for a future update but I don't know what the timeline is.
As someone who remembers Rare on the N64, bitching that hard about a one year delay is pretty pathetic.
I waited years and years for the Fallout and Baldur's Gate franchises to finally get picked back up. So yeah, i totally agree with you there.
Twilight princess was the worst for me. I heard rumors in 2002 about it. 4 years, but I wasn't dissapointed.
That one was "Dragon Song" in the US, and "Genesis" in Japan and the EU. But I think most people just refer to it as "that which shall not be named."
You wanna no something annoying? I bought lunar legend literally this past Sunday. it's very annoying. Cuz I have to buy this now. I miss my money.
I've been looking forward to this for so long. Looks like I won't be getting much/any sleep before work tomorrow. And to restate what others have said, lunar is one of the best jrpg's ever released. For it's time the graphics and cutscenes were amazing. By today's standards it's still a good looking game. The battle system was innovative. Most impressive of all, in my opinion, was how the story unfolds. Not going to give away any spoilers. Can't wait to get into this game again.
All i can say is. I am loving it. Cmon... It's LUNAR. Now Square just has to port Vagrant Story into the iOS and I can die happy. After I grow too old, of course.
Wow, I've never heard of this game. I grew up on mostly Atari 2600, NES, GameBoy and SNES. I was never into SEGA games except for maybe Sonic, Golden Axe, Kid Chameleon, Splatterhouse, Strider, Streets of Rage and Phantasy Star IV. By the looks of this game, I'm surprised that such a game existed back then. That battle system is unique as hell. I might actually buy this.
