Oh yeah, the animated cut scenes! I totally forgot about those. Yeah, I bet those add up after a while. I edit for a living, and I know you can only compress video so much before you start hearing a backlash from those HD purists.
Do HD purists play 80s JRPGs on tiny iDevice screens? They usually tend to own very expensive cables and equipment... Does Spotify at its highest bitrate sound very good to you too? I keep Airplaying it to my tv and can't get over how great it sounds.
Yeah, there's no excuse for Chrono Trigger. I just emulate the ROM instead. Better controls, looks nicer on iPad, and only 4MB.
I'm going to get back on a few of the other questions soon, but... Pretty sure all (or almost all) of the outstanding bugs have been crushed already in the release version. You should be good to go now, if you're so inclined.
Need to finally finish FF3 (grinding JL's for my Devout in Crystal Tower) and FFIV - the latter has captivated me. Then I'll pick this up. Bought Xbox360 at start of the year, and completed Mass Effect. Bought Mass Effect 2 and RDR, and my Xbox is sitting back in its original packing, as I've yet to unpack it since my house move, as iOS has my gaming attention
I got the okay to tell you guys, so here goes. The big updates we're working on include two major features: - Improved graphics for retina screen devices and - Full screen maps and battles on iPhone 5
Very nice update can't wait to fire up game with retina visuals improvement One question : do I need to have all achievements to unlock extras because I finished game and didn't unlock them
Hey Nall, I've been reading over this topic for the last 2 days hoping I could find an answer to my problem, but I didn't see anything really about it and had a quick question. I bought Lunar on my iPad 4 last week and just departed on the boat from Saithe and I,ve noticed that the music cuts out during all moments of the game for like not even a second like the track got caught up or something. It's very noticeable during the battle music and sometimes during audio such as when the boat is leaving and Alex calls out for Luna to get on the boat, both of the lines played at the same time to make just a whole bunch of jibberish. I've seen no one else complain about this on the reviews on was wondering if anyone else experienced this and there is a way to fix it or would deleting the game and doing a fresh install help? I never got to play this game back then since by the time I bought Lunar 2, this game was already incredibly rare and expensive, and seeing this game on iOS after getting my iPad 2 weeks ago has literally made the happiest gamer ever, and the game is very much still playable, but I really want to get the full experience, and the music cutting for just a second really puts a damper on me. I'm pretty sure I will still find my way through this game though even if I can't fix it I'm iOS 6.1.2 on an iPad 4th gen btw. It's awesome to see a developer always willing to hlep out and take suggestions from everyone . Also Is there going to be any change with the movement in Landscape? I think a stationary and transparent D-Pad would work much better for this game than the digital analog stick. Thanks for bringing this game over to iOS again though guys, it feels great to finally get a chance to play this game without having to fork over alot of cash. 7 bucks for this is a steal :#
I wrote couple of pages back that I had same problem ( slowdowns) when they leave with ship after first boss.Did you also crash when fighting that boss ? Also on iPad 4.
Nope I didn't crash there, and I've had the music problem since the beginning of the game, but it was when the boat was taking off that I noticed that like 2 or 3 lines of spoken dialogue were being said at the same time and I couldn't make out anything that was said. I'm not tripping about it though, I was just wondering if anyone else has that music cutting out for barely even a quarter of a second. I heard something about it being because of the psp tracks, but I wondered if anyone else noticed it or if it's a problem I have and need to fix by reinstalling. I still have not reinstalled yet though.
There was an issue with slowdown in the first release or two that affected a small number of users, but has long since been patched. I've certainly never seen that and I've played through that scene a number of times, but we'll have some people doublecheck that part on the same device/OS configuration to be sure. Do you have anything running in the background? Is your device jailbroken? I only ask in case there's something that could be delaying audio processing.
Nope no jailbreak, it was just weird to have heard it. It hasn't happened for any other scenes either containing spoken dialogue. Any clue if it's probably linked to the same reason that the music, especially the battle music, cuts out for maybe a quarter of a second?
My inclination is no, but it's possible. We're going to have a few people play through that segment on iPad 4s and see if it happens to any of them. I don't believe any of the unlockables have been released (...yet).
We've offered to port Eternal Blue and have done some preliminary work in case that happens, but ultimately it depends on whether or not all the parties to the license in Japan get onboard. If you'd like to let the Japanese publisher directly and let them know your thoughts, do so at BOTH http://www.gamearts.com/contact/contact.html and [email protected]
Just finished playing this. Very fun game! I'm curious, but how is the final score used by the leaderboard calculated? Is it based on experience and/or time taken to complete?
Is there a trick to breaking the ice blocks in the white dragon cave? The ai doesn't seem to want to approach the row the block is on and I've been stuck for a week. Game guides are overly confident in their descriptions and vague because of it. Is the diamond in one of these chests behind the ice?
From what I remember you need to lure AI to break blocks.Just stand in front of block and when you see AI charging at you move away so he can break it.
