If your guys combined can't do more damage than he can heal at once, then you probably need to level up further. I mean maybe there's a bug but it certainly didn't happen to me.
As has been mentioned a few times, bosses become stronger as you level up so grinding doesn't usually help too much.
Hmmm... well especially early on you'll learn new skills and stuff but yeah. Maybe daemon leveled up too much?
Nope there is something else fishy going on, probably having to do with the way the app was installed.
Daemon: Assuming you're not genuinely under/overleveled, your app has been corrupted or modified and you should re-install from the App Store.
This game crashes to much I say a new dev pick up lunar 2 the games great but was ported poorly I thought it was iOS 6 but people have been complaining about crashes as well.
The only time the game has ever crashed for me was when I'm opening a chest, healing someone (music lags for a second) and after some cutscenes.
Cutscenes for me but I'm at the part you go back to see the magic guild now back to going back there.....again blah
Anyone who wants a bug/crash free experience, use an iPhone 4 running iOS 5. I've played upwards of an hour at a time with no slowdown and have never crashed. I am at the point of the game where you go back to Quark a second time.
Regardless of what people in this thread seem to think, the game was actually tested very extensively, both in house by myself and other testers, and professionally by a third party testing company. I personally played through the game from beginning to end twice, once on an iPhone 4/iPad 2 and once on a 4S, and reported each crash I encountered. I am now playing it a third time on a 5 to make sure no new issues have cropped up on the new hardware/OS. Porting a large game like this is simply a massively complex undertaking. Crashes are regrettable and I hate to see people's experiences with the game tainted with these types of problems. The single most helpful thing players can do is let us know what issues they are having so that they can be corrected. Obviously the dev is actively supporting the app and trying to make it work for everyone so please bear with it and keep letting us know if you encounter a problem. Btw I am an unpaid volunteer, not an employee of SoMoGa and all posting I do here and elsewhere about Lunar is undertaken on my own without direction from the dev.
Someone should have tested the iPod touch and 3GS etc.. Anyways I am running IOS 4.3 on an iPod touch 4th gen, it's playable but has some problems with slowdown, it's not really as bad as what solely the other people here have mentioned but its not perfectly playable either.
Mhmm...well, I can't speak for anyone other than myself -- and the amount and quality of testing is a moot point. We're bringing up issues that the final, live product is exhibiting. And I get the distinct impression that some of our comments are being ignored. So, I don't agree with you entirely. I would otherwise, but again, that's not the impression I get here. As an aside, I reported the issue using Apple's automated system, which merely passed the buck. Since I don't expect anything from the publisher, I'll just know in the future to steer clear of their games. I've spent $60 on worse games, so in the grand scheme, it's not that big a deal. The only reason I'm frustrated by this is because there's obviously a great game here underneath these problems, and I'd love to be able to have that on the go. But since you yourself brought it up, I think you guys did a terrible job of testing this game and/or giving feedback. I'm not trying to troll or flame you either. You mentioned it, so you seem to be open to taking credit/responsibility in part for the final product. Setting aside the game's horrible technical issues, there are control and design decisions here that absolutely stink. I think there's enough feedback within this thread to clearly get that point across. Owning up to your mistakes is probably the first step in correcting the problem. Seems no one wants to admit that, hey, maybe "this" or "that" wasn't such a hot idea.
Hey Geeky - sorry you're having trouble. I wanted to assure you I've personally read every one of your comments. I'm following up via PM to get some more info on some of the points.
It's so strange reading all of these issues... I haven't experienced any slowdowns, lag, framerate issues or crashes on my 4th gen touch, running iOS 5.1 - the longest play session I had was about 2 hours, and it ran fine the whole time. =o/
I wonder if these people are jailbroken/unlocked or god knows what else people do to their phones, then bitch when official apps dont work properly.
I really want to purchase this game but I am hesitant with all the comments.. Although I am using iphone4 and there doesn't seem to be any issues so far on it? Just the iPods? Is that correct?
Nope plenty of non-jb people are having issues. I have problems on both iPad 2 and iPhone 4S, neither jb, both on 5.1.1. Game is playable, but I have to save and quit every 20 min or so to be safe.
