I'm on an iPhone 4 and am having none of the problems people are having. I think its a great port so far.
Sirrozha, I read and passed around all your points. We are trying to accomodate most of them, and I will have details for you soon. Let me be frank here. I appreciate the feedback, we are trying to accommodate most of your requests, but we probably won't hit all of them (notable example - the main menu. I'm sorry you don't like the design, most people we polled said they did, although we might change the new game card for you). And a few of them (example - iCade support) we are going to work on but it definitely won't make the first update. And I have some info on your new points: 1, 2, 3, we're looking into. 2 and 3 were not the case before it was submitted to the App Store. 5, you can push two adjacent keys at the same time on the portrait d-pad. Are you trying to push two other keys? Off the top of my head, I can't think of a situation where that's warranted. And we know about the joystick bug (although interestingly, it doesn't affect everyone). I can confirm there's a fix for this already in the first coming update. Edit: Royce, that's a weird one! We've never seen anything like that in either development or nor had it reported in QA (user or professional). Can you me PM as much detail about the configuration and the in-situation in-game as you can? Thanks!
Lack of English subtitles for the deaf Hi As a deaf gamer I would like to express my frustration at the lack of English subtitles for the deaf. I'm not sure why they were not included with this edition of the game. Putting them in would have been but a little effort and many people would have benefited. As it is I paid 7 dollars for a game that I cannot enjoy as much as a hearing person. When can I expect that English subtitles will be returned to the game? Thank you
copacetic - which edition of the game had subtitles? I asked Working Designs (who published the PS1 game) for subtitles back in the day and they said no.
I suggested subtitles for the spoken parts a while back, for the deaf but also for people playing in a public area on their phone where the sound was unlikely to be turned on. I don't remember what the response was, but obviously it wasn't something that got implemented before launch.
subtitles is also something i'd LOVE to have. I play my iPod a LOT when my wife is sleeping (yeah, I don't sleep much) - but this is my prime RPG gaming time, because I'm able to sink a couple hours into it. But without subtitles, I haven't been able to get into this one as much as I'd hoped... =oP
Okay, I have beaten the fake Dragonmaster and returned to the flying mage town. Nash went off and the game hung. Relaunched and it reverted me to that mountain pass just one location before. I went to flying townno cutscene. So it looks like I have never beaten the Dragonmaster. The game has reverted itself to like an hour ago or so. I dont even have such save file. From the second attempt I got to the point where you are grabbed. The game crashed again. Still reverted to long ago. Later it crashed after Nash leaves you in flying town. And only for the third attempt I was able to progress. There is always a hiccup in outside background music. Pretty annoying.
A quick update for the few of you here affected by the sudden framerate drop after playing for a while -- there's a known graphics driver bug, which does not affect all hardware/OS version combinations. This had cropped up in QA earlier, but seems like the workaround isn't working for some of you. So if you are affected, please do PM me your configuration. Thanks! In the meantime, there's an advanced option in the Settings for Lunar called "Shaders." Turning it off will change the rendering pipeline next map. Hey anime007, any known issues with your GameCenter account? Game Center is initialized in that menu, and some of the things it does can intercept touches to the screen. Might be worth signing out of Game Center, killing the app, signing back in, and restarting it.
Not sure what you need to know in terms of configuration, but I've already mentioned earlier in the thread I'm on 3GS using OS 5.1.1.
SLime boss I seem to be stuck on the slime boss he heals for every point of DMg I do 252 last time I tried is it a bug or do u have to kill it one round???
He heals roughly 95 hp every round, if he heals a lot more you may have a problem. I recommend cascade song or vigor (or both) on Alex. Then let Alex use sword dance while nash use riot for most damage dealt possible. Hope this helps.
Quick question - keen to hear about opinions. Chrono Trigger or Lunar Silver Star? I've not ever played either of them. Both marred with problems of control (according to several users of this forum). Both have similar graphics. Which would you recommend? Please bear in mind that I only have an iPod touch 4th generation... Any opinion welcome!
Geez, that's a really hard question. I'd probably have to say chrono trigger. I think it is one of the greatest RPGs ever. I've beaten the game about 30 times! No joke. The controls just take some getting used to.
I don't know if anybody else has had this problem, but while I was in the crystal tower I lost the ability to open the menu. I couldn't save or heal or anything. If anyone could respond I'd appreciate it EDIT: I found a funny bug. When you go to the main menu right when an enemy is attacking the Sfx will keep playing. It's kind of funny
Well like I said he is healing every round for so far 252 which makes killing impossible unless I grind enough levels to one round him how much hp does he have
Just double buff Alex, use repeated sword dance, lightning, and attack with the other two, healing with Luna when needed.
So how am I suppose to kill it when lets say all my guys do 150 dam he heals for 150 and my guys are really doing 252 dam but he heals for that I grind more levels do more damage buthe heals point for point read all previous before replying plz
