I just finished the game and loved it. Thank you for making it. If you ever make Lowlander 3, I hope I hear of it. Richard Garriott ought to be proud of how you’ve added to his legacy. I’m going to play both games again now.

Hello I had a lot of fun playing Lowerlander. I managed to beat it but am now getting a “Fatal error” message when I try to claim the chest in the star tower. Any tips on how to fix this? Can’t wait for Lowlander 3.
Hello - Congratulations on beating the game! I'm sorry about the crash though. If you could upload your game I will take a look. I can probably fix it for you, and it would help me figure out why it happened... To upload, from the Title Screen, choose Load Game -> Copy -> Send.
Hm - it looks like all the files are there but they are of zero size. Something seems to be broken with the upload - I tried it myself and got the same thing. Let me look into it and I will post back here.
OK - had to chat w/ tech support at my site. Apparently uploading has been broken since August 2021! Not a heavily used feature I guess - lol. If you can try uploading again I will take a look at your game. Thanks for doing that, I was totally unaware it wasn't working!
Okay NoahNCIN - I see why it is crashing. When you beat the Sea Spirit, did you go to the chest and open it, but then decline to accept the reward? Looks like there's a bug in there, where if you don't say YES the first time you open that chest, thereafter it will crash. (If this is not what happened in your case, then I still don't know exactly what's going on) I can't exactly fix that without a game update - which I'll do at some point but cannot right now. However, what I did was change your save game online so that you have not yet beaten the Star Spirit. So if you download that game, you'll have another "first" chance to open that chest and say YES. You'll just have to beat the Star Spirit again. I'm going to message you the instructions on how to download that game - let me know if you don't see them. Thanks for letting me know about that bug!
I’m stuck looking for the boots of balin to get into temple of the moon. I’ve beaten yarak. Absolutely have loved playing this game. Can’t wait for the next one

As an old Ultima fan I’m having such a blast with these games. I’m having trouble with Zordmurk and Hubbard though. I’m unable to get the sword from behind the glass case. I’ve tried just walking up to it, attacking and casting spells. Can’t tell what I’m missing? I’m assuming I should have the sword before being able to fight Hubbard because I can’t have any effect on him even when we’re just one diagonal square away.
Zordmurk is too powerful a sword for a worm like Hubbard. You don’t need it. What you need is a way to stop Hubbard from getting away from you - you should have that I think?
Yes I think I do but it doesn't seem to be working. Spoiler: Spoiler I have tried freezing him when were just diagonally apart but it doesn't work. I saw in another post this is how you deal with him?
Spoiler: Spoiler Yes, freezing him is right. How were you able to hit him diagonally? I think you can only hit him straight-on. It might be necessary to use the chests that the monsters drop in order to create obstacles for him, I can’t remember… [/SPOILER]
Oh, I see. I wasn't able to freeze him diagonally, I was just using the spell that freezes all monsters around me. Will try the other one. Thanks so much for such a fun game and thanks for the prompt reply.
Spoiler: Spoiler Ah - yeah that is probably a bug, sorry. You should be able to freeze him with that spell but it might only work with the regular one… I always forget how to mark things as spoilers…
