I got the update to the lifejacket bug after I'd been affected - no backups - do I need to restart the game?
Ending Still been plugging away in the past few weeks, as proof that I love this game, I Spoiler spent at least 60 minutes walking off 500 food so I could starve to get to Shangra La to get the last wand. Maybe there could be a hungry beggar who takes food donations if you patch again? Anyway, finally geared up, off to fight Yarak, kill the baddie, Spoiler but where's his throne to cast the spell on the orb?? It has to be in the last chamber, right, because the gate locks you in and you can't Wisk out. It's not in his little alcove, and can't get to the room behind him because no path through. Tried it on two different days, thinking I had to be missing something, but I just don't see it.
Temple of the Moon blocked I finally found the Temple of the Moon, and entered. However, once inside I can't go any further past the sign because it's blocked off. This one has me totally stumped! How do you get past the barrier?
Lighthouse First off I loved Lowlander & have been enjoying Lowerlander. I'm stuck in Sulaco & the lighthouse. I've given the lighthouse keeper bananas for his hangover & answer his first 4 questions correctly. I then get a 5th question that did not have a correct answer as far as I can tell eg Regard the air speed of a sparrow. Have I missed something?
Typical I just post here & then discover syndrome I didn't speak to who gives me the information I need ��
I'm pretty close to giving up which is frustrating because I'm so close to the end. But I need to slay five clowns and I can only find three of them. I've revisited (I think) every town, castle and dungeon on the map and I can't find any more clowns. Any advice you can give would be great. Thanks!
Oops sorry I have not been getting notifications for some reason. @fearmeIguess Spoiler if you talk to the bartenders in LowTown I think they tell you which towns have the clowns. The tricky one is the guy at the bar there who is an ex-clown so he doesn't look like one. But as they tell you there at the bar, "once a clown, always a clown". The other places are RIverwood, Butterfly Isle, Lazlo, and one other place -- maybe Tove?
@bsabiston Thanks, dude! I'm ready to pre-order Lowlander III: Lowerlander-er as soon as it's available. I guess somehow I neglected to visit the bartenders in Lowtown... This is such a dope game: clearly a labor of love and full of surprises. Really enjoyed it.
Throne Bsabiston - I posted this on the last page, maybe you missed it. Yarak's throne. I can't find it in her castle. Don't see it on her level, and can't leave that level once I'm there. Can't go north after I beat her, because barriers in the way. Please help. Making me crazy being so close to the end and not saving the world.
Hey Windo - thats weird. You mean you see her but not her throne? Its just the little space she was standing in. Does that help?

Help please - stuck First off, thanks for the great game. I'm having so much fun with the Ultima nostalgia. Ok, on to my need for help... I'm level 15 so doing fine with weapons, gold, food, spells, etc. But I've exhausted everything I can think of What I've done: towns: Karmann, Yagni, Shebastian Township, Shebastian, Gaddis, Tove dungeons: baby cave, bee cave, ice cave (not finished?), Lair Lost Things where I seem to be stuck: - Can't scross swampland. I found a few paths that go across but other than paths I can't cross (e.g., places where swamp is more than one square wide. Seems like there's some solution to that based on that oracle in Gaddis. - In Shebastian I was able to get to NE corner to the guard. I've got the garden key but have no idea what to do with it - haven't gotten the dungeon key from Yarak's assistant, Sleether - haven't found 6 frogs but that seems optional I could list more things but think this is long enough. Help would be appreciated. Thanks.
Hey Token, You just need to use the garden pass to reach Sleether in the castle garden. Its to the left halfway up the hall toward the guard who gave you the pass. Make sure you investigate the chapel area above it as well,,,
Help part 2 (of...?) Thanks bsabiston, finally found the garden. Made the mistake of thinking that guard would get me (wrong), got in the garden fine with the pass. And... it didn't really get me anywhere. Looks like priority now is I need a boat. Spoiler Canoe is gone at dock N of Gaddis is gone and answer seems to lie in Gaddis. The suggestion in Gaddis is that Boat is in Virga and to get there I need to get to Nether Regions, and only way to do that is through Ice Mime. So long story short I can't figure out how to get in Ice Mime. I can go straight thru - out the other side. I see a place off to the left that requires a key but I have no key and lockpick doesn't work. That seems to be my sticking point - can't get thru that key on W Side of Ice Mime dungeon.
So you haven’t beaten the Ice Mime yet, is that right? Spoiler the door to your left when you first walk in is not the way. Just head on up and around - if you meet any obstacles then think about how you might get by those...
