@SonixManix yeah I'm sorry that does not look right. What device/OS are you on? Are any of you other guys seeing that? It should look lo-res but sharp, like the screenshots and gifs in the thread post.
Looks awesome. Absolutely love Ultima IV, enjoyed Gurk III, don't think I could go wrong with this. It even appears to have that old wizardry-style ambiguous spell thing going on... If it's Lord British approved, that's good enough for me # Will buy and review when I've spent some time with it :U EDIT: I'm getting the same visual glitch as SonixManix on my iPhone 5C running iOS 8.1... Kind of offputting sadly... Also the how to play menu seems to just crash... Hoping it gets fixed soon!
Sure the dev will be able to fix it don't worry Work fine on my iPhone 4S. Think for indie devs it's tricky with so many different systems and os's etc
Game world is sparse and spread out. You start in a castle in the middle of nowhere, not sure who this king is governing as there are no towns within several days travel. Very easy to run out of food unless you know where a city is as you cannot buy any in the starting location. Died from starvation two steps from the food vendor. Ehhh.
Finding this tricky ! I eventually get to the town after the king old me to go there. Don't have enough coins for good and then die! Everytime I go to the menu gamecenter tries to open (I never use gamecenter so I'm not logged in anyway) Would like this if it was easier. With Ultima you could explore but here you lose points if you try to explore and then starve as you can't find a shop. Or have any coins Seems a huge game but just way to tricky at the mo
Sorry guys if u thought that I was begging## I just saw this awesome game and my friend also recommended it to me. I buy 90% of the games to support the developers on TA. But since it is not released yet I was asking for a promo code to leave my comments on the game to further help the Dev. And would be happy if I could get one. Sorry if u thought I was begging Happy new year!!!
I wasn't begging. He said he had 7, and to post if you wanted one. Only like 2-3 people posted. I politely followed up on an offer.
Sorry you guys asking for codes. I didn't know there was a separate forum for that, and I wasn't even supposed to offer them here. I ran through the 10 I had. Next week I'll do some more in the right forum. Also, I'm sorry for people that are finding it too hard at the beginning. I based the game primarily on Ultima II, as you can probably tell. If you go back and play UII, it is just as hard at the beginning. Very hard to stay alive at first. But that passes pretty quickly if you manage to stay alive past the first runout of food. The game doesn't stay that way, I promise.
Hey man, don't worry about it at all . I'm lookin forward to trying this game out one way or the other!
Oh wow. This reminds me of when I used to play Ultima on an old Mac Classic in the early 80s. Nicely done.
