    Lava boots

Ok I'm loving this game- I found the
    dwarves boots
    and
made the sword out of the four alloys
... But now I am utterly stuck. I think I need
lava armor so I can survive the skull island dungeon
... But I have searched everywhere- literally went back to all cities and dungeons looking for s clue but there's nothing I can see... I'd really appreciate a clue so I can finish this thing!

@istara That's awesome! Thanks for making a map. Someone had just emailed me masking for one, so I sent him to your link. One thing, though, you forgot Antipathy and the town of Shelter on the map. Antipathy is in the upper left corner of the big desert and Shelter is on the little island below the desert, enclosed by mountains.

@Satlas I think you need to visit Shelter and Anaka!

    where is Inverness?

definitely the hardest part of this game is locating where you are supposed to go next...

    Hey Odach,

Inverness is just the name of the entire Eastern continent where Castle Pynchon and 3 of the 4 big dungeons are located.

You probably should go talk to King Pynchon. Take a look at the map on the previous page here if you don't feel like searching for him.

    Game Impressions

    Hi all,

I love this game so much that had to register into the forums to give feedback. There is so much love and effort put into this game and as Ultima II was my first love with c64 I really like Lowlander. Also it is great to have developer even helping us with tips here :)

Some comments about gameplay and maybe few ideas for the sequel (please do it!):

    - Considering Ultima II is the influence the graphics feel just right and gameplay is very solid. I would not have imagined that it would work out so well with touch screen. But as there is only one character is is really, really good.

    - Start menu however is very uninspiring and compared to for example Ultima III and IV menu screens with clever animations and captivating music it feels bit lacking.

    - I did not find the earlier version beginning too difficult but it might be still good to adjust it bit easier as it might turn off others.

    - Game world might be bit more compact. Discovery and travelling is big thing for game like this but I felt that there was bit too much empty sea and land out there. At least few more signs, pirate camps, hermit caves or such would help.

    - I haven't completed game yet but if the end does not have text line "Azamon is dead!! All her works shall die!" it must be added... few more inside jokes and references to early Ultima's with ducks and food stealing Gremlins would be nice.

    - After the beginning monsters on the world map are actually really weak and offer to challange except occasional Nessie.

    - Signed game completion certificate by kind king would be nice :)

You were right, I needed to speak with king pynchon... He instructed me to go to the 4 dungeons...i started with antipathy because someone in the town suggested it, but once I got there I learned that the glim spell isn't powerful enough to light my way...I haven't seen any thing but basic touches though... Am I missing something?

This game really does a great job of reminding you how painfully arduous games were back in the day... Not sure that's a good thing...

@Odach, you aren't missing anything. It's just hard to see in there.
If you don't like Antipathy, you sure aren't going to like Odium :)

    I can't find the
dwarves boots. I got the coordinates from the kid but I'm not finding anything on the island.
    . Thanks!

    @klink
I don't think you are able to get to those exact coordinates, are you? Anyway talk to the princess in Castle Pynchon -- she will direct you toward the boots.

Antipathy? You're right, I couldn't go over the hills to get to that spot. Thanks

@klink I'm confused, that has nothing to do with your previous question. Did you get the
    boots?
Or do you just want to know where
    Antipathy
    is? In that case
it's in the upper left corner of the big desert below Castle Pynchon
    .

I'm in Dungeon Odium and have found the key. Can't find a door to use it on. Any clues as to the general area of the dungeon the locked door is? I've gotten about 2/3 of that dungeon mapped and have had to restart it twice from scratch because the game has frozen up on me. Any help would be appreciated.

Bobish what kind of device are you on? The gate in Odium is toward the right when you go in, you kind of go up the right side of the dungeon. The gate is in the upper right.

Great! Thanks for the help. I'm on a 6 with the latest OS. I would leave the game and come back to resume, and I would be in the main game screen. I had the Welcome Back, but nothing would happen. Had the mini map in the lower right corner and it looked like it was registering time in the lower left corner. But nothing would happen, so I had to kill out of the app and resume from the main menu. Game was still intact though. Whew!

Oh ok I think I fixed that Welcome Back bug. It should be fixed in the update later this week.
