    Of note...

US App Store still says v1.0, and site description has not yet been updated.

What other changes do you note?

New tracks! I can't get past the third track! There's a lot of talk about how hard Fastlane is (mostly before the update), but I am having a MUCH harder time with LGR.

Any tips? I can't finish higher then fourth on the third track. Most often I'm fifth or sixth. What am I doing wrong?

    - Cockpit view
    - Warning indicator

    That's all.

It says 1.0, but if you click on the "buy app" button the new update shows up as the available d/l.

I have a lot of racing games, but not this one. Is it worth buying?

Hmm... I might have to get this game. I like racing games that include a front view instead of looking from behind.

I also like how this game looks a lot like Wipeout.

Yes it's worth. I always enjoy playing it.

Here are things that I miss:

    - circuit map
    - an arcade interface look (bigger on screen information such a lap number)
    - Competition mode: it could be like a season competition where you make points considering each race result (like in F1 or Indy); between each race we could check how much points we have and our position in the competition; well, something like that...

Anyway, it's a great and fun game to play!

It looks really good and runs smooth. I have most of the racers also (with the notable exception of Ferrari), and while imo Fastlane is head and shoulders above the rest, LGR is def number two.

I am certainly no racing game expert (I like Fastlane a bit, but not much and prefer games, that do not try to be realistic and fail at it - so LGR and SnailMail attract me a lot more...) and after 1 day I finished all races first in the beta class. Tips: 1. There are some tracks which seem to be nearly impossible to pass, if you do not start from position 1 or 2 - so, sometimes going back to the previous track and improving the result there will do the trick (if you start from the first row, you will miss less speed boosts - more speed boosts = more distance to the followers = lower chance of being hit by missiles). 2. You really have to "read" the horizon and steer early for maximum speed, concentrating on the visible track will make you hit the walls too often. 3. Touching the sidewalls will slow you down much more than using the air brake to avoid that. 4. While maintaining position 1 or 2, give preference to shields over missiles.

Its a cool looking futuristic racer. Haven't seen anything like it on the iPhone. Pickups and A/I get old fast. Car AI is OK, catch up code and pack spacing works but it not optimal. Steering is good.. but... I like the Fastlane's control a bit more.

Have to say... its visually impressive - definitely a lot of wow. Taking a fantasy approach to a game lets the designers really dictate reality.

It's a good game. If you want it today - get it at it's 5.99 price. If you are on a budget and can wait a couple of weeks or so. I'm sure it will go on sale once the dev see's their daily revenue fall off.

    Thx!
