Glad folks are liking it. A small touch on the surface, before a real redesign lands some time in the future, but hopefully it makes things easier to find for the general reader. Under the hood, the TA site template has been completely restructured. It's a more proper arrangement and makes for less headaches for various routine drills we need to go through on the backend. Also, about 50K has been shaved off of the page, so loads should be somewhat quicker. There's a glitch in the forum template as viewed on the iPad. I'll get that worked out here shortly. Nothing huge, though. bp
I think my favorite thing about this is that the buttons are substantially easier to hit on the iPad (and iPhone in non-mobile skin). I was always fat fingering that.
I think there's a bug created by the new look. Anyone getting this to happen? This is in Firefox but it also does this in Safari. It happens to all drop down menus it seems.
I like the new look, it should be easier to hit the top buttons, especially since I'm on TA on my iPod most the time.
Words are getting shifted when I go on the desktop version of the website. (even after refreshing/changing pages
Is it possible to add a hover color to the buttons? Like the yellow color used when you are on that page, or when they are clicked?
Very nice; I noticed it right away after being offline for most of the weekend. It looks sharp. Three thumbs up.
Looks sleek. But I plus the idea of some sort of hover change so they seem more interactive (if it's not too much work that is). Any sneak details you can give us concerning the complete redesign?
I'm getting the same thing as Mr. bowling. I'm using IE8 (on my work computer! ), if it makes a difference.
