Now THAT would be amazing though the company is in big financial trouble (over a billion in debt) and with Howard Stern leaving in 2010, things aren't looking up.

Still, if this app were to come up, I can see a lot of people getting the service, and I demand Howard Stern on the go!

    In My Head
Well the only station I listen to is on iHeartradio app, and with that and Pandora, there is no way I would do a monthly service for radio, But I know this would be good for the sports fans etc...

My biggest worry is that it'll drain the battery as quickly as Pandora.

On the electronista site it says:

"Both Sirius and XM customers will have to pay an extra $3 per month for the streaming channels. Existing users can still 'lock in' the free service before the March deadline."

How do existing users lock in the free service?

If you currently subscribe to Sirius/XM - via Satellite radio to your car or home radio, you get online streaming for free. After March if you sign up for Satellite radio, the online streaming is extra. This phone app uses online streaming, not the satellite feed.
