A quick opinion. As much as I like to have one, I think that the Nameless Horror is too strong for the cost. One suggestion to reduce it a tad would be to increase all undead prior to tapping the opponent’s discard and adding the Skeleton. It’s a minor change but given that the Skeleton essentially acts (well kind of) as if it has rush giving it a bump before it’s first turn makes it that much stronger.

Okay, I certainly agree that Nameless Horror is powerful. Your proposed change is an easy to make to have the boost come before the skeleton creation, which is what I think it was before.

And yeah, it has been very quiet because I haven't had much time to work on the expansion due to a number of factors over the past several months. I am going to spend some time tomorrow trying to wrap up some loose ends and play-test the cards some more, so we'll see how close I can get. There are a few that still need tweaking and few other aspects that need to be worked on (ie, with the dungeons and enemies).

An interesting sequence here. I had a creature (don’t recall the name) on a Mask of Insight. I played a Dragon serpent on it to consume. The creature was consumed as expected but the Mask remained. I was a little surprised as I expected it to be consumed as well. Additionally the Mask did not activate when the creature was consumed. I’d expect that to be considered damaged if the Mask remained.

I think I’ve found another bug in the current version. I’m able to play an aeon on a character currently using the Helm of Invisibility but I don’t yet have the Seer ability. I cannot, however, play other cards on them, for example I can play an aeon but not a Reversion. I was under the impression that I should not be able to play anything on a invisible character w/o Seer.

Interesting Buffbeardo - I notice your first 2 are on my all times as well. I think that’s probably because they have similar concepts and I seem to recall that Shaldalar was one of the inspirations for Lost Portal.

Consume does preserve the equipped item, as you saw. However, the mask did not trigger because the Consume ability works it is killing the creature, but not really damaging it. The 'on death' abilities do trigger. This is just the way I coded it and I could have the 'on damage' abilities trigger as well if that makes sense. Would certainly benefit this mask interaction.

The wording for the description of hidden is: "The creature cannot be the target of spells or magic items."
An aeon card is not considered spell, so you can still use on to activate a creature ability. That was just my decision to allow it as I found it annoying to not be able to activate a creature ability just because they were hidden.

    That is accurate!
I am a big Magic: The Gathering fan (yes, I opened a bunch of Tarkir packs this week!) and I really enjoyed Shandalar back in the day, so it was absolutely one of the inspirations for Lost Portal. I also enjoyed Star Control II, Baldur's Gate, Starcraft and others.

Wow, I just found that. For years I never even attempted to use an aeon on a hidden before you got Seer. Oh well…
