Sorry, folks! I know this is frustrating. I am investigating. The first error was a mistake when submitting the update, where I didn't select the in-app purchase to include it for review. That was fixed, but the app itself is apparently having trouble connecting to the App Store. It works when I test through Xcode, so it is not easy to debug.
Just looked inside the game's "store," ....been checking off and on all day and it IS now available to purchase. Button at bottom now that says $1.99 # Edit: D'oh....my save game is gone! Which...is not an issue for myself as I barely just started playing and planned on starting anew with the update/IAP etc, buuut...if this is affecting everyone especially those far into the game already that might be a problem # Oops, just remembered I deleted the game earlier to see if it would help restore the expansion purchase option. Is there just no cloud save function? Sorry if I scared anyone.
I just bought it the moment I opened the app. No hesitation! Thanks a lot. Btw is the new content hard and recommended for end game or should I start a new game? Though I'm guessing the new dungeons might not be accessible for early game.
There are new uncommons, rares and ultra-rares that will show up throughout the game. The new town is available from Coradym and is around that same level of difficulty.
Played some of it: holy smokes, the new cards sure add a new layer of strategy to the game. I'm looking at you scared soldier. Sidestepping my attacks. Gotta say, stragegy sure has been ramped up a fair bit.
Already met the uber boss - with the new cards, it was quite the challenge to overcome his big health pool. Don't wanna spoil it for the rest: It a lot to chew through. I've been thinking about a few things that might be interesting: Don't cap the ability scores. If someone wants to boost their Dex to 60 but leave everything else at 10, why not? They'd always go first and get lots of poisoned creatures etc. With that in mind, I'd go as far as increasing the level cap to say 50. Plenty of room to run things too. Some of the cards are really rad btw. Is there any way to counter the skull? The skull is pretty much a death sentence for whatever card gets it.
Picked up the game as it was on my radar for quite some time. Playing on normal, monoblue deck, and for the time beeing, it's a breeze. Playing a tempo rush deck based on controlling & flooding the board, counterspelling and overall drawing tons of cards, I am destroying my oponents for the time being (Just got to the 4th city, haven't lost the last 25-30 duels or so) Great game by the way, having ton of fun.
I've considered that before, but I was concerned that some of the abilities would get too effective/game breaking (i.e., generating too many starting aeons with a high enough wisdom). I'll add it to the list of things to consider for the future, though. Well, besides disrupting it (i.e., Confute, Stolen Soul), you can remove its abilities (Devolve, Calming Voice) or return it to hand (Reversion, Orb of Recall), or perhaps steal it (Master's Will). Otherwise, if it dies its ability will trigger, and yes it will take your creature with you and give your opponent life. It is definitely a fun inanimate creature to play with, not so much against.
Glad you are enjoying it! Sounds like you might be ready to increase the difficulty level; perhaps after you complete the game on normal, or you can even change the difficulty of an existing campaign by pressing the edit button on the campaign menu screen and making a new selection.
I finished the main quest on red, gonna run it on the other colours now. Is there a way to replay some of the battles? Would love to pummel that demon with high HP a few more times. It was one of those battles where a strong deck can really shine, dealing tremendous amount of damage and live long enough to survive.
Yeah, I had fun with that demon too. Currently, there isn't any way to reset a particular dungeon or town, but I have given it some thought. I have also thought about how to add the expansion enemies to the end-game random dungeons, but that wouldn't give you any control on when you could face a particular enemy.
