    That is some bad luck, as the loss is based on cards randomly chosen from your deck. If you were playing on hard or above, you would have lost an ultra-rare out of your deck on that loss. On a win, you can sometimes get lucky and pull an ultra-rare or rare out of your opponent's deck, as well. If you have the Slight of Hand ability from high agility, that gives you a chance of pulling an extra card or more gold from the opponent, which can add up over time. I am sure you also gained other rare/uncommon cards after defeating that boss.

    Yeah, my blue deck became unusable (crash on load). My other decks are fine.

    Things that I can think of: add a duplicate feature to the forge. So if you already have one card, you can create a copy of it at the forge.

    Love the endless dungeons btw.

    One more idea: could we get maybe like a super boss with like 100 or 200 HP, that requires a bit more thinking than just mop the floor with a quick rush attack or so?

    And: a feature where after having the enemy defeated, you'd get to pick a card? Would be a rare occasion, maybe equal to half your Dex or so, but you can pick ONE card that you see, other than the randoms you already go.


    PS: Red/Blue deck are insane combo. Staff of duplication + marauder or Warmonger = instant one, maybe 2 round kill.

    Out of the blue I had the same issue. Happy to see it's a known issue though and is being dealt with.

    Without fail I've played Lost Portal every day since release. Fantastic game with the perfect mix of everything. The card abilities are ingenious and it's incredibly fun to (try and) put together the 'perfect' deck.

    Version 1.1.2 just went live. Please give it a try and let me know if that solved your problem.

    I'll add that to the wish list; might not be too hard to implement. Would certainly make it easier to get multiples.

    That would be easy enough. I'll give it some thought. Perhaps all of the bosses in the endless dungeons should have more HP.

    That sounds powerful, but I'll put it on the list to think about.

    Yes, the Reflecting Scepter is quite powerful, and so much fun to play. I'm not sure if you are suggesting a nerf for it, if it is too game breaking.

    1. Yep, my blue deck is back.

    2. I would make them optional bosses, since not every deck is set to deal high damage. Just like in one of the maps where the boss is surrounded by 4 skeletons. You can kill them or not, you still get to play against the boss.
    Or even make it a separate realm where all the enemies have double or triple the HP but would
    Reward more gold or better cards. (Not for the weak hearted)

    3. I think the staff is well balanced. You can't play it too early on, and when you can, the enemy would have had enough time to throw something in its way.
    That staff, same as the maggots or the legion card is one of those things if you don't catch it early on, it gets out of hand and then you basically have to wipe the board to contain it.
    I've lost a few matches to maggots or spiderlings or even werewolves because they just kept coming.

    I am glad you are enjoying the game! Lost Portal has been designed as a single-player adventure, and there are no plans at present to support a multiplayer mode.

    FYI - I am currently investigating a bug that occasionally causes the game to lock up while returning a card from the discard pile back to your hand. I've only seen it once but I've just seen someone else report about it in an App Store review, so I will be debugging and looking to fix it in the next update.

    My pleasure! Working on Lost Portal is fun; especially creating new cards and testing them out. I am pretty sure I have that bug fixed that I mentioned above, although it is so rare that it is hard to be 100% sure. It will be in the next update.

    Speaking of the update - progress is being made on that. I have a brand new town and dungeons created for the expansion. I am still creating new cards, enemies and NPC's.

    Very looking forward to possible expansion. Lost Portal was easily my most played game of 2016, couldn't begin to count the number of times I said in my head "just one more battle".

    Obviously you don't need help designing card functions but I was thinking maybe it'd be a good idea if players had some fancy ideas for cards they could throw them into the ring here? Maybe you'd get an awesome idea from left field you never thought of, just a thought.

    A possible card idea...

    Vampires Revenge

    -Completely immune to everything.
    -Rush
    -Does no damage at all to opponent.
    -Any card it touches loses all life before adding it to your own, then both cards leave the game.
