Reinstalled this and I'm having a lot of fun. I really like that some of the cards can be obtained only through combat. Thanks!
That's great, thanks. Concerning the blurry assets, how about the world maps, do those appear sharp on your iPhone 7 Plus?
I did update the world maps in this last update and they do look pretty sharp to my eyes, but I'll take another look. The buttons I have improved; I still need to look at the pop-up frames.
Thanks, glad you are having fun with it! I agree about the Avatar cards; definitely adds something with many of the enemies having unique cards.
The next update will also include a new deck manager screen, where you can see all of your decks, create/delete a deck and easily tell which deck is active. When you create a new deck, you'll be able to select a card back and name the deck.
Yep. Then you get a pink portal in your town which will require 6 cards to open. 3 brown and 3 red. Don't worry, you will find enough on the other side.
The next update is submitted for review with Apple, so should be available in a few days. This update includes the following: Deck Editor Improvements - New button to sort cards by cost/color vs. card Id - New buttons to add/remove cards from the detailed card view - New button that opens the new Deck Manager Deck Manager - Increased number of deck slots from 4 to 5 - Select a separate card back for each deck - Name each deck - Copy an existing deck to an open deck slot - Delete a deck Creature Attack Animations modified - Tweaked the creature attack animations to make it more clear when the player receives damage
Update 1.1.0 is now available! As always, please leave a positive review if you are enjoying Lost Portal!
Great update. The only thing I don't really like is how fast the animation is when the creature attacks the player. It doesn't seem to flow well with the other attacks. I would slow it down a notch. It looks like the card is being flung at the opponent.
Easy to tweak. I'll experiment with the timing of those animations, but don't want to slow the game down too much.
Thank you for the update !! You have done a great work / support for this game ! I believe the timing / CPU animation is fine. My opinion though. I dislike when for example in Magic the Gathering the battle takes years, eons until it's finished.
The new animations are a good addition and the deck management system is awesome. There's however a small detail that I don't like. Two updates back when scrolling through cards the movement was fluid and continuous, now the cards do a slight jump that when scrolling through several cards makes it feel less fluid and more of a nuisance. I think this detail was better before, without those "jumps".
Yes, indeed I agree with L.Lawliet and Claud that the animation is too quick. I played for a while and I don't like it despite the fact that I wrote earlier that it's fine. I hope that you can fix it because you can't understand clearly what's going on.
Thanks for the feedback! I'm testing now with a slightly slower animation and I do think it looks better (without being too slow). I'll look to get that into the next update.
Keep in mind that the problem that I was trying to explain is unrelated with those animations but it's tied to the new behaviour when scrolling through cards in magnified view. Not sure if I was clear.
