Universal Lost Frontier (By Mika Mobile)

    I hate this game with a passion at the moment. Level 24 is the most frustrating level ever. I hate the way I can sneak into the town at the bottom and engage the force to the right but a few rounds out from destroying it the one in the middle always comes down and decimates me. I've tried at least 10 times now. It doesn't help that you have to sit through 3 armies' moves for much of the battle. Overall my time being frustrated by a level (15-18 and 24) considerably outweighs the time I've really enjoyed the game. Bummer.

    I think there is element of luck in the level. Just hope your allies don't trigger the top most group and the middle group or else you be overwhelmed

    That definitely seems to be the case. Quite frustrating considering the scale of the battle. Damned frustrating when you think you've done it and it all goes to shit.

    I found myself using air power a lot, even with Nadia's undead specialty.

    Addicted to this game! Really can't wait to see what an update will bring.

    A few things I'd like to see:
    • Alternate storylines for the unlockable Legends.
    • Allowing the boosts earned to apply no matter which Legend is being used
    • 'Earned' save points per stage. Perhaps after 6 (random) turns, a chance to restart from that point
    • Weapons/upgrade shop?

    How the hell do you beat challenge 12?? Maxed out slayer hero starts off right next to you with more money and insane movement/attack power AND regents back like 25% Hp each round. AND there's a vampire hero attacking you at the same time, can attack TWICE in one turn, that can easily cross the ever I just 2 turns. How in the world are you expected to create any defense against that in iust TWO TURNS?? When you only have $500 and barely 4 buildings?? Any unit I build instantly gets one hit by the vampire, while main hero easily gets two shot by slayer. No there are no factories anywhere near, can't afford tanks in 2 turns anyways. What kind of design is this level anyways?? 2v1 AND you start off right next to each other AND enemy has more money??

    I stuck in chapter 21. I tried different strategies but at the end I'm always confronted with too many enemies. Any ideas/hints/tips?

    It's the hardest one in the game imo. I've not been able to 3* it yet but you have to push aggressively right from the start and use your hero's abilities (assuming they're leveled up) to your advantage.

    Bought this day 1 and finally got around to playing it. Anyone know if level buffs from legends effect playthroughs with other legends?

    If you mean their talents then they're unique to each Legend.

    Closest thing to advance wars that I've ever found.... this actually might be even better because it's western and the units are so well done along with the missions

    Finally got through Chapter 17, thanks to tips in this thread.

    Figure I'll write it down for future desperate googlers:
    - Don't lose any units for the first 10 turns if possible. Keep rotating them back to the engineer/wagon.
    - In the 2nd round, shoot the air ship with your gutlinger gun.
    - Bait the units to the east to come towards you. Don't cross over until you've taken out most of the eastern forces.
    - Take the eastern buildings. Build stuff! Stay there until the rest of the units that come chase you are destroy.
    - Then go forth and attack the northwest wave.

    That earned me 2 stars.
    Not going to stress out about 3 stars, I'm guessing you spend less time building stuff.

    Chapter 18. Not really going for 3 stars but I think to defeat this you have to 3 star out of necessity.

    Basically you defend all 3 openings. Keep your airship as safe as possible, always out of range of their planes. I sent it south to pick off some zombies along with 1 slayer. It goes off to pick enemies, always out of range of their planes.

    Top got the wagon, canon and 2 slayers. Take out their sniper asap with the canon.

    Left got the tank and posse and calvary. The extra calvary moved to plug holes. Engineer and doctor in the middle.

    Always check ranges, and use your other fighter plane to take out their fighter plane.

    You should clear most of the south point first, and then the west a bit.

    Personally I really wish Mika Mobile would add different difficulty levels to the game. As it is, I'm half way through and will never see the end for any character because the 'fun' factor is quickly replaced by the 'frustration' factor.

    An amazing game, just too hard after a certain point in my opinion.

    Been on a mission to beat at least one level a day. Playing the game and being defeated many times is all apart of the game. I'm learning the computers strategies instead of looking for tips.
    I probably will need tips in the high levels though but for now I'll be doing it on my own until I hit a wall.
    Glad to see many people still playing the game.

    This game is good but could be so much better with some changes. While i was disappointed by the lack of options coming from Battleheart Legacy which had tons of customization, i can get over that.

    The things that would make the game alot better to me are

    1.why does my ranged legend get a skill to let riflemen shoot point blank but he cant himself? This makes my legend weaker than a crap unit. Makes no sense?

    2.when im attacking a unit i have to back out to see how much health he has? Why does it show my units health at the bottom of the screen but not who im attacking?

    3.cant check range of a unit once turn is over.

    4.Cant see who has a buff like snake oil.

    5.A lot of things are not made clear. Like is there any purpose to 3 star a level? I really like to try those even though some seem impossible but if there is no point to it then why have the 3 stars at all? (If i got a special skill/more xp then it would be worth it). Also when a legend unlocks new skills do i keep those if i go back and play an earlier level?
    Just an example there are tons more things that are not clear after playing for hours.

    6.I feel like the Legends should feel like badasses but they just seem like any other unit to me.

    7.Should not have to open a menu to end turn. Either auto end it once all units have moved or just put a button i can hit once im done.

    8. Should be able to see Legend bonuses without having to back out to the main menu. Also the normal units should show stat boosts from legend bonuses.

    9.I shouldnt have to hit surrender if i want to replay a level. This just makes me have to wait through loading screens and click through text every time.

    Im sure im forgetting things as well.
    Dont get me wrong i think the game is good and quite fun but some little changes here and there could make it great.

    If you make a sequel to this please add some customization options, like skill trees or things like that. I think a Battleheart game like this would be awesome also.
