Wha? Lost?! D/L NOW!!!! [EDIT] - Looks wonderful! I haven't had a chance to start reading the theories, but from the looks of it so far, this seems to be the best Lost app out! (Are there others?) Anyways thx for the heads up!
After spending some time on this app, i wanted to thank devs for making this. It does offer a lot of info and speculation on Lost. Pretty good timer killer. A few thing maybe with the next update: -change the icon, it looks kinda toyish, would be nice to just have it say lost in white letters on a black background, this way the black background would blend in with the iphone, and only LOST in white letters would be seen. - have the app load a bit faster, sometimes it take much time for the app to show the threads/theories "says gathering lost info" for a while. -Change the main screen, the jungle frame looks kiddish, like something from a Disney Animated Flick. Lost is a dark/twisted/mysterious show. I think the app should resemble that a bit more. -Have a way for the user to be able to post comments to theories/video/clips or maybe even start some new threads of their own.
guess it'll be refined for next season. Think you could expand this quite alot to include episode guides and character guides etc.
You should contact the website of lostpedia.com It's the best lost wiki out there, and to have that in iPhone format would be boss!
yeah. i check that site daily and have an account on there. its amazing. buts its owned by wikia now so think its out of the original creators hands if they wanted a iphone version. wouldnt take the community a long time to put one together cos wikipedia has a mobile version which is great.
A ha ha ha. That's funny. The sixth season won't start for about 9 more months. Thanks for making this app. I've been waiting for a lost app. Too bad it doesn't force me to enter the numbers every 108 minutes. and I agree with 1337brian, somehow connecting with lostpedia would be amazing.
Thanks for all the input. I will definitely be updating this and refining it before next season... I know I have at least an extra hour a week of free time until next season I did have a connection to lostpedia in there but in testing it was causing the app to crash, so I left it out for the time being. But I'm working on getting it back in. Any more suggestions?
Lostpedia!!! That's gonna rock if you add that back in, also onto what chumbake had said a cool timer/countdown clock with sound effects would be sweet, and since the app is free I don't see any legal issues. Or just some sound effects at all is always a nice touch like the lost intro sound or something to that effect would be cool. Oh yea did I mention the ability to submit our own theories, an also have. Type of rating system for them as well? Great app so far thank you sincerely from one Lost fan to another.
I downloaded the app, but it always crashes on the title screen. I restarted my iPhone which usually helps if an app crashes but here the problem stays. Any idea how I can fix this and use the app?
I think they are going to do the same thing they did this year. They will run all 16 episodes back to back with no repeats (save for a "clip" show in order to catch up on the season) like 24. New season won't start until Jan or Feb of 2010 I think. They will start shooting the last season soon though, usually in July.
