When I remove a game from my Touch, and then put it back on later, I have to start the game over from the beginning (fieldrunners for example). Any way to prevent this besides leaving the app on the device permanently? To be honest, I can't remember if I deleted it (fieldrunners) directly from the device or unchecked it when synching. Would that make a difference?
Well, if you uncheck an app it will get deleted the next time you sync. And no, there's no non-jb way to keep the stats/save-games of an app when you remove it, besides restoring a backup, which will restore everything you have to the point at which the backup was made).
Thanks. I'm limited by 8 gigs, so unfortunately I have to remove some apps every once in awhile. Too bad they don't save when you do.
