Does the player do anything besides the set up then watching what happens? Is it any more interactive than that? AltsKev Well-Known Member Nov 12, 2016 566 157 43 Male Developer #7 AltsKev, May 1, 2024 You need to build arround the map with the card you drop after fight. That add monster to the map or bonus for your life or other Then after your run, you can build your city that give you some bonus before start your run ste86uk likes this. There‘s tons of decisions to make, with some perfect risk and rewards systems. My only problem after playing all day: the grind for your village upgrades is getting rather big quickly, to a point where I already lost interest in continuing to play. I wish this game - like Slice & Dice - had an unlock all button, for people like me not interested in meta unlocks. I just wanna play the game with all cards on the table. sebgo and ste86uk like this. ste86uk Well-Known Member May 9, 2012 6,774 1,000 113 #9 ste86uk, May 1, 2024 @PBSNellie I haven’t gotten to it yet but Google says You don't control your hero at all. Instead, you make the major decisions that determine the hero's future by creating a world around them, a loop that they'll walk around until you either summon and defeat a boss or die. Which is what I remember learning it was like when I watched videos on it a while back. You don’t control the hero but you do have an affect on the environment and world to help your hero succeed and grow stronger. You place things to help them. Then you need to decide when the time is right to retreat so you keep all of your loot for upgrades. sebgo Well-Known Member Dec 26, 2010 832 397 63 Male 95% leisure. Somewhere in a town amidst the Amazon jungle. http://www.google.com #10 sebgo, May 1, 2024 As Kev said, it's sort of an idle management strategy game. You don't take total control over your hero beyond deciding which pieces of equipment to use, when to stop to place cards on the field and when to return to your camp. Fighting is performed automatically and results mostly depend on your character's stats which are determined by your equipment, some tiles on the map and passive effects from your camp upgrades. As you defeat monsters, they drop cards with several different effects like HP recover once a loop/lap has been completed, increasing max HP, summon monsters, grant materials to upgrade your camp and other effects which you can learn by reading each card description. Enemies grow stronger with every loop. They spawn on their corresponding tiles every few in-game days (time passage is determined by a gauge at the top left of the screen), meaning your character will eventually face more than one enemy at a time. Your character won't level up (as far as I've gathered), only their stats. According to gameplay statistics, there are more than one class with the initial character being a balanced knight. The more loops in a row your character performs, the better the rewards he'll get, but enemies will also be stronger and in bigger number. I think that's pretty much it. There's a narrative, too, which unfolds as you play. PBSNellie and houseofg like this. I sure would be interested to see if / how this would work in portrait mode (not currently supported). Would be sweet if they decided to try to add that. Duke12 and elcrazy like this. Beyond excited when it come on iOS but I have this terrible thing where I save the games I’m most excited for, for the perfect time to play them/start them. But that perfect time never comes so I’m making an effort lately to play these games I’ve been excited for and holding off on so I don’t hold on too long and miss out! Plus I do like waiting for a couple bug updates on them too. This is very addictive. I spent an hour and a half on it last night then earlier I had 10 minutes spare thought I’ll do 10 minutes while I’m at work…half hour later I’m like where on earth did that time go! Gonna be a dangerous one to play when you keep feeling like just one more loop. elcrazy likes this. elcrazy Well-Known Member Sep 19, 2017 706 561 93 #15 elcrazy, Sep 25, 2024 Surprised I never commented in here.
