I don't get on there very much. The last games I bought were Shadow Complex and Trials HD... so I should have almost 2 years worth of games to catch up on. There's gotta be something worth buying, right? Any ideas? Oh, but I'm not paying for gold, so I'm only looking for offline games.
Bastion Pac-Man CE & CE DX Galaga CE DX Half Minute Hero Rez HD Afterburner Climax Super Meat Boy Pinball FX2 Bionic Commando Rearmed 'Splosion Man & Ms. 'Splosion Man Scott Pilgrim vs. The World (movie sucked, game is awesome)
Downloading the trials for Bastion and Ms. Splosion Man at the moment... and opinions on Torchlight? Seems like it might be a decent length for the price.
Torchlight for the PC was kind of decent, but it got boring fast without any co-op or online capabilities. The game is focused on randomly generated dungeons and looting, with a little here and there; that's usually what's going on as you play through the game.
I've been enjoying Torchlight on XBLA. It's worth the price if you ask me. No coop, sure, but it's a fun single-player game. I also have it on my computer, but I don't game much on my computer so never really played it. I've played the XLBA version a lot more. Fun game and worth it, IMHO, especially if you get in on the buy two 800+ pt XBLA titles and get back 200 pts, that's valid this month (at least in the US). I haven't figured out what I want to go along with it yet to get the rebate points. I tried Bastion and while it seems funish, I don't know, something about it just strikes me as a game I'd never really get around to playing. I'm still mulling it over though. I did like the style and, yes, the narrator.
I'm actually gonna have to take Hodapp's advice on this one, my PS3 just blew up (slight exaggeration) so I'm having to shell out a load of money for a new one and can't afford luxuries like XBLA games now Thanks for the info though, I'll keep it in mind for the future.
