I've nearly finished building an app that searches and tracks all app store games that both: 1. Aren't free 2. Have no in app purchases. The app only covers games that meet this criteria, and I've been trying to think of a name that communicates this, specifically that it's a tool to help people look for "premium" games (as much as I dislike this term). Any ideas would be much appreciated. Will also soon be looking for beta testers, will post more soon. Cheers!
It would be cool if it includes games with iap’s only for content and premium unlock while ignoring anything with in game currency iap’s. I’ve actually had this idea in my head for a long time. Nice to see someone going somewhere with it..
And it would be the ultimate app if it included premium games that are free..I.e. Polytopia, Samurai Wars, etc.
Yeah I agree, unfortunately there's no easy mechanism (that I've worked out) to extract the types of IAP, just whether they have iAP or not. Hopefully in the future I can add this, but for now I've focused on making it as polished and useful at what it does. It's quite steam-like so far, you can filter by 300+ genre tags, sort by newly released, popular, user rating. Also filter by popularity which is a convenient way to filter out the very popular games and find much of the good stuff in the middle. edit: Thanks for the name suggestion too!
there is no connection to games in the application name best cam sites here: https://camsites.me https://bestcamsites.me/ https://camgirlsites.net/
Nope. A generalized name, in my opinion, would allow the app to grow into something bigger. At least, that was where my mind was going. Also, the name Nintendo means “leave luck to heaven” and has no mention of games in it, either.
The app was named Marcobot too, but Apple disallowed it on the App Store after I submitted it for review.
If failed on Guideline 3.2.2 of the following: https://developer.apple.com/app-store/review/guidelines/ 'Creating an interface for displaying third-party apps, extensions, or plug-ins similar to the App Store or as a general-interest collection.' I had a phone call with an Apple reviewer to try and understand if there's anything I could change in order to get it passed, and they couldn't tell me. I believe it's standard procedure that Apple don't tell you what you need to change, you have to try and work it out on your own. Sadly I can't see what I could change that would allow it to pass this guideline.
I'll try, but I just can't see Apple letting this one in sadly. It's a shame as I'm obviously just promoting their own content. There's always marcobot.com for now but I won't be able to keep that going much longer as it costs to keep going and doesn't make any money. A cheap app would be a much better mechanism to keep me working on it.
