Im a big iDevice gamer, but I haven't been playing my iPhone games that much anymore just because I simply got bored of them. I've been wondering if anyone can recommend a good action game or a good RPG game. Possibly an adventure game too. Preferably a 3D game, but if not I'm still willing to try it. Thanks! :)

Have you done any google searches for RPG's on iOS ? Should bring up some great lists for you.

Aralon is the game i would suggest, huge huge non-linear game, lots of missions/sub-quests etc, great RPG.

Lara Croft is great for an iOS action game, and it was a buck not too long ago (not sure of the current pricing). Chinatown Wars is also excellent, though it's hard to enjoy the controls after completing the game on DS. RPG-wise, nothing interests me as much as FFT. It's SRPG, of course, but still the only thing that has sucked me in on iOS.

Well, Dead Space combines all of those elements.

...only if you have an iPad.

If you want more hack n' slash action, I've been having fun with Eternity Warriors 2. It gets pretty grind heavy, but I've had a blast with it.

Touch controls a pain in the butt, no loot. Not a true dungeon crawler or RPG. Hack n slash yes, tho.

More like a Tap n Snore (with a couple of swipes here and there) that doesn't provide enough motivation in terms of loot/plot/skill progression and advancements for me to finish the game.

I would say try dungeon defenders. It is a action RPG/tower defense hybrid.

I enjoyed Orc: Vengeance for what it was (more or less a hack n' slash with touch controls instead of button smashing). Great atmosphere and gameplay as long as you don't go into it expecting anything deep as a traditional RPG.

Heroes Call is quite similar, but lacking in style IMO.

Dungeon Defenders is an excellent choice.

Nice! Thanks for the great recommendations, but how about some non-RPG action games. I'm sure I've played all of the actual good ones, but I'm hoping I missed out in a game.
