    Hi everyone! First post here.

I'm looking for an iPhone game which is:
    Under about $8
Point and click, interactive fiction, JRPG, action RPG, platformish or Metroidvania - mayyyybe puzzle
    Does not have multiplayer
Is not a roguelike / endless game
Does not feel like it's trying to gouge me with IAP (buying content is fine, gacha or pay to win is not)
Does not have time-based events (i.e. after X date it's gone forever)
Can play for a few minutes at a time
Can play with the sound off and not lose much
Can't be finished in an hour or two

    Games I've enjoyed:
    Swordigo
    Nilhumbra
    Cally's Caves 3
    Glowfish
FF Record Keeper - had to quit due to several points above
    God of Light
    Hack RUN
    Project 83113 (kinda)
    Chaos Rings

Was focusing on free but I'm now OK spending a bit on one.

    Thanks!

    OK, here we go:

    Platformer: Goblin Sword - $1.99
Perhaps the best platform game on iOS. Certainly top three.

    Interactive fiction: 80 Days - $4.99
This and the Sorcery series are as good as it gets. 80 Days stands alone, though, so it gets the edge for you.

    RPG: Teeny Titans - $0.99
One of my favourite games on iOS, and currently on sale. It's brilliant.

    Total: €7.97

    How's that?

That's three more ideas than I had before! Thanks very much!

    Action RPGs:
Battleheart Legacy (diablo-like, but with less loot and more open world-ish)
EPOCH.2 (3rd person cover shooter with an RPG twist)
Evoland (combination of action RPG and JRPG, and a fantastic visual narrative as you go through the game)

Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic (one of the best games ever made :D, if you can stretch the budget up to $10)

    Platformers:
Dust - An Elysian Tale (metroidvania)
Adventures of Pip (mario 3-esque with the map system)
LIMBO (intense atmospheric side scrolling platformer)

    Puzzles:
    Lara Croft GO
    Shadowmatic
