Hey there, I was looking at a laptop that I came across on Newegg, and seeing as some of the users here seem to be aficionados on the subject of technology, I was looking to see if the laptop I found is a pretty good buy. The specs and price can be found here. The only thing that irks me is the 5400 rpm drive, but that can easily be remedied. Reviews say that the video card works well for moderate gaming (one specifically mentioned Supreme Commander II running well in his review, and that's what I was looking for), and the processor and RAM aren't too shabby for my purposes. Plan on mainly using it for word processing, web browsing, and light iTunes use (what a great oxymoron, no?). Moderate gaming looks like it checks out... But still, I'd like to hear some opinions from the peanut gallery. Good for the price? Know of a better one that costs about the same? Way over my head? The boards are open.
I don't know about the laptop itself, but I'm currently rocking an Asus desktop and it is pretty bad ass.
