Bike or Die 2. 2600+ levels, super addicting and really challenging (I guarantee you *can* get at least 200 hours of play out of this! XD)

Fuzzle, Frenzic, Trism - high replay value and really addicting :)

Warfare Inc. - I think there are like 20 levels plus 200 levels you can download (dl them before the trip if you get this game), it's a fantastic RTS game (strategy)

Brothers in Arms and Hero of Sparta will last quite a while and they're great games, but usually only worth playing once or twice.

Vay will keep you going for quite a while, another old school style RPG that's been out since the early days of the app store.

Besiegement... no doubt in my mind. I spent at LEAST 15 hours beating the story mode, and that's not counting the challenges which could take another 4 or 5. The time I spent on the game was never frustrating and never forced! Best use of money for me by far.

    BTW http://www.besiegementgame.com/blog/ for update info.

Super Monkey Ball will cost you a long time to complete. :p
Tangram games can also take you through some of your time, Tangram Puzzle Pro is free, TanZen has an active developer on this forum. Both games have a lot of puzzles!

    Veel plezier!

id suggest Snail Mail, the first few levels go by pretty fast but once you get higher up it gets much harder

Everest: Hidden Exploration is good too, its pretty much Ispy but your racing against people, lots of high definiiton pictures to go through, will deffinatly last you a long time

TanZen will take you much longer to complete, and does not run your battery down (assuming you've turned off wifi access, as that's a killer on power).

Wow, everyone is shamelessly plugging their own apps here.

I suggest Orions, basically you can play forever. Check out the discussion here.

Do you have any artistic talent? If so Line Rider takes hours to make an interesting course.

Things that I play while rocking my kids to sleep:

Pathways - I think time speeds up when I play this one.
Bike or Die - I bet you can die 234,289,239 times in 10 hours.
Fieldrunners - Another one of those games where you look up and lost an hour of your life.
Virtual Pool - if you play pool, this is your app.
Boomshine, Bugz, Sneezers - any of these chain reaction games seem to make time dissappear in an instant

Trace is another good one if you don't already have it. It's free, and there are enough levels to keep you busy for an hour and a half or so. That's how long it took me to complete it at least.

I think your best bet is get a bunch of free or cheap games you know you'll enjoy, and play a bunch of them to keep you busy. Better than investing $5+ in something that may seem like a drag for a 10 hour car ride. Make sure to get something you enjoy, regardless of price, that's what really makes time fly.
