Black screen right after logo and nothing happens. Six Plus here. Latest iIOS.

 

My guess is that it has to do with Game Center, since I see a black screen a fraction of a second, followed by the GClog in banner at the top and all the game pics that take you to the main menu. Try running the game in airplane mode to seeif it works.

@Devs: the penultimate mission 100% objective and headshots completion bug isn't fixed. I've just tried and I didn't get the achievements. Check image attached.

I know it sounds silly, but did you reboot the phone? Mine performed terribly after the update until I rebooted the phone. It probably won't fix anything, but just to try.

Another option I can think of is logging out of GC and trying to run the game to see if that fixes it.

 

Of course I did. No voodoo dancing should be required to run IOS games.

 

the black screen issue on 6plus with iOS 9.2.1 is very weird. we just double check it right now and it does work on our end.
at least the progress loss issue should be fixed, can anyone confirm this (we couldn´t reproduce this issue).

 

Damn... It is indeed a Game Center bug that affects so many people. Got it working after quite some heavy digging...

 

what did the trick? how did you get it running?

 

I had to logout in GC, the real problem was to open it, it was just stuck at the white screen. After couple of restarts I was able to get in from the Settings . There is too many people affected by this. Apparently, Apple knows and working on a fix. It has something to do with ICloud and GC.

 

Told you it was probably GC... I'm sorry I was right, because GC is such a mess right now...

Did all of the above and still not working for me works fine on iPad Air 2 and mini 4

 

Yeah it's been going on for far too long... I've tried all the fixes online for it and I just can't sort it at all. Very annoying.

 

Log in fix:
Log out of the AppStore in settings, reboot, log back in, reboot, open game and voilà GameCenter, continue game.

 

Thought after the initial connection to GC would allow me to play from then on without the GC connection, no such luck. Def not gonna go through the process to log into GC every time I want to play. Looks like I'll be downgrading from the update. I wish that devs would realize that the majority of us have the GC bug and not make playing the game reliant on it connecting. Older version, here I come.

 

Downgraded, problem solved. Sucky ass apple.

 

There's a new update which hopefully seems to fix your issue. Maybe you want to check it
