This is phenomenal. Whether it's the sniping missions or the more shooting galley stuff, it all just feels flawless and I'm really having a hard time putting it down. The F2P stuff shouldn't matter but I have legitimately no idea how it comes into play since I bought the $2 to support FDG before even trying the game. This is SO much fun and a great evolution from the Clear Vision games of old.
First impressions - this game is a ton of fun. I've been playing all morning. The gameplay is very fluid, the challenges add a lot of replayability, and the story makes me want to keep playing. Great art style. The full game unlock is a no-brainer at only $2.
Into chapter 2 and i've got to say, this is a very well done game. fun, cool story and looks like some cool gun customizations are possible. Looking forward to spending some more time with this one, just an overall well done game with a proper IAP implementation.
This is the best sniper game I've ever played . Easy controls and lots of thought out missions. Easy to just jump right into without having toread a books worth of instruction manuals. Graphics are top notch and even the story missions are entertaining. 5/5 stars
Random question for everyone: I was given a promo code, and have played the game for a little while. How can the install size only be 100MB? Is there an "unlock" option I'm not privy to? Thanks I will write a review of the gameplay on here later today with feedback and such
Awesome game! I will be buying full unlock! One noob question, can I buy the unlock if it's not released? I am a sucker for sniping games and this is top notch, love the missions, upgraded guns, and nice progressions. Thank you again for the code and will write more as I delve into this gem.
I've seen "Tactical Assassin" in the "more games" section, and it seems like that game could be called a beta version with stick men of this LoneWolf. There are missions which look identical. In any case, both games are great.
So I've played this for about an hour now. I must say; I'm quite impressed. It ran flawlessly on my iPad Air 2. I really enjoyed the graphics scheme. The upgrades and attachments are also within the realm of impressive. I can definitely see this game doing well upon its public release. At this time, I cannot think of anything to gripe about. I'm still trying to figure out how to download the entire game. I paid the $1.99 to unlock it, but nothing downloaded. It caches pretty rapidly as well. Within the hour I played, I have 45MB of cache/documents. Is this normal?
Huh? Download what? You've already downloaded the entire thing. There's nothing beyond the initial App Store download.
No, I said that I am unable to download the entire game. This is my first promo-issued game, so perhaps this is normal?
Either I'm an idiot or I totally don't follow what you mean. You downloaded the game, right? You're able to play it, right? You can access and buy the premium IAP, right? You get thanked for purchasing the game, right? If you answered "Yes" to all these questions, you have the whole game in between your hands. You don't have to download any additional content through the IAP...it simply gets unlocked for you.
I was assuming (and still am) that the additional content would need to be downloaded because the install size is only 100MB. I don't see how's it possible for a developer to compress 5+ hrs of gameplay into a measly 100MB. Am I missing something?
Would you believe Oceanhorn (published by the same awesome folks as this) is somewhere in the 300 MB range when installed? As long as developers aren't using a million damn videos and voiceovers in their games, the file sizes remain small.
That's right; they made Oceanhorn as well. I had forgotten. That was a graphically-intense game as I recall. I'm shocked it was only 300+ MB's. Okay, I think I have my answer now. Lol, thanks
I would love a promo code before its out if u still have them the setting and gameplay looks neat what i can see from the video FDG doesnt dissapoint cheers
So are there only 4 chapters in this game? It's looking that way. Seems a bit short. Devs, please advise. Thanks
thanks everybody for the feedback so far, really glad you enjoy the game =) re 100MB: metalcasket is absolutely right, everything´s in the initial download from the app store. it was a bit of a challenge to fit everything into only 100MB, but we luckily managed to do so re Tactical Assassin: yes, simon hason developed both Tactical Assassin and LONEWOLF. we joined forces on LONEWOLF a bit less than 2 years ago and it's great to see the result is entertaining and fun yes, the game has 4 chapters with around 30 missions. please keep in mind to mark spoilers in the thread in case you want to discuss the story enjoy
