how much did our wacom tablet cost? i cant seem to find a decent price anywhere and i desperatley need one.
well i need about 5 of em, and they have to be pretty heavy duty, price isnt super important but its a main factor.... i was looking at something like the Cintiq 21UX....but thats a bit too much....do you know of any competitors who sell the same device hardware wise? cheaper of course
I'm sure you could look at some generic brands at a discount, but they won't hold a candle to the real thing. I've looked at brands such as Genius, Adesso and VisTablet. Mixed reviews for all of them. Though I'm not what you mean by heavy duty. A good tablet won't break easily, probably survive a 5 foot drop, but you won't be slamming it with hammers any time soon. This one's $64. Good deal considering I got mine for $90. Another thing to consider is software. Many graphic programs support pressure sensitivity for Wacoms, but who knows about the lesser known ones.
Imm going to get the Bamboo Fun Pen and Touch, its the highest Grade Bamboo (entry level) tablet for $200, but I have like $100 worth of Best buy reward zone points...so yeah! And from what I've heard...wacom's are amazing and its hard to find something to compare. My school uses SmartBoard Technology for its tablets and Smartboards...but those suck...ahaha BTW, IM getting one, Just havent gotten it yet, I can give some feedback later if you want it!
