I watched the video above and the time limit (designated by the 2.00 next to the mini map) doesn’t count down. I might be reading the video wrong (I haven’t played the game before) but has the time limit been removed? Some of the DS reviews were a bit negative about the time limit, due to sometimes it was hard to place things quickly as the screen does not rotate. It is the only thing holding me back from buying. I’m not a big fan of time limits in any games. OddAlun Well-Known Member Dec 2, 2017 81 40 18 #15 OddAlun, Sep 29, 2019 No time limits. The 2:00 next to the minimap is how long the next battle will last. I don’t distrust your comment but maybe there was a miscommunication on my part as to what I was referring to? OddAlun Well-Known Member Dec 2, 2017 81 40 18 #17 OddAlun, Sep 29, 2019 Nope, I understood. I have the DS version and there is a timer during the build phase. I’m at day 4 on this “revised gameplay” version and have not encountered any timers “yet”. stubbieoz likes this. geoelectric Well-Known Member Apr 22, 2010 464 22 18 San Jose, CA #18 geoelectric, Sep 30, 2019 So, is it good? I never played the DS version, but I did buy the PS4 version a couple years back and it was terrible. Controls weren’t good via game pad and the game just didn’t feel good on TV. How is the iPhone (or iPad?) version for you compared to original? OddAlun Well-Known Member Dec 2, 2017 81 40 18 #19 OddAlun, Sep 30, 2019 It's been years since I played the DS version(just fired it up once to verify the times on the DS version)... I don't like the tower defense games but Lock's Quest clicked for me, it looks even nicer on my iPad Pro. I also like to support Handy Games as they've been a reponsive company(I seem to have most of there games ). If you had a bad experience with the PS4 version, I'd wait for a few more impressions. As I said earlier, I'm biased in favor of LQ, it's a Premium game the sucessfully competes with Apple Arcade Premium games that I've dl'd. solarnya Well-Known Member Jul 22, 2015 907 287 63 Male Close to Tokyo, Japan #20 solarnya, Sep 30, 2019 bought! hope it would support Japanese (You must log in or sign up to post here.)
