Liveguide is a service dedicated to making sure you never miss a second of what you love. Started as a school project by Swedish Hyper Island students almost a year ago, Liveguide has now become a startup with its first app released just a few days ago. Available on iTunes App Store here. We call Liveguide the next generation TV-guide. It lets you browse the livestreaming world the same way you would browse your TV-guide, and notifies you when your favorite broadcasters go live. Is this a guide to free online services, paid streaming services or both? Does it sort by interest, language and country or within a few predefined categories?
The aim is to be a guide to what we consider to be the best livestreaming services in the world. Currently we are featuring Ustream, Youtube live, Justin.tv, Twitch.tv, Dailymotion and Livestream coming up. We will be working hard to expand the selection of services of all shapes and sizes. We sort the livestreams and broadcasters by a wide selection of categories and tags. In our personalization update soon after release we'll be able to sort by things like country, interest and language as well. Hope I answered your questions!
