Thank you and the rest of the Handy Games team for porting this gem of a game to mobile. I really appreciate it! Rosso Well-Known Member Dec 17, 2010 236 12 18 #4 Rosso, Jun 15, 2023 Better that is, when a game is 10 bucks on iOS!!.... Hmmm... not sure about this one. I like the premise, I like such games, but its like 4+ years old really and the visuals are not appealing to me, unfortunately (these colors that all look the same)... Kairosoft are putting massively content heavy games like their new "Dream Town Island" out for 7 bucks minimum and I wonder if this one is worth the relatively high price on mobile. Any demo / free trial planned for this? thanks HG VAMPIRE Well-Known Member Jul 11, 2013 300 103 43 #5 HG VAMPIRE, Jun 15, 2023 No free trial available. It was 4,99€ for me, which is just ridiculous! Hell, even for 10 bucks it’d be a steal. I couldn’t agree more. Can’t wait to get my hands on this. That’s why we have freemium as some people expect everything for free or dirt cheap prices ! People buy an 800-1400 dollar phone but won’t buy a $10 mobile game ! and again (in my view) that’s why we don’t get many blockbuster iOS games at full price as devs just don’t make their money back. Started a second time, now have a functional factory specialising in wood and plastic, with a good line of profitable basic products consistently churning out. One eye on medium products, one on metal and plastic machines. This is a good game. My 8yo tanked on it and may not restart, but it is a great little management sim. No complaints about a sensible price for a very deep game indeed. There is a lot to get your head around - I think I missed mood the first time and so accidentally destroyed my workforce whilst t trying to progress too fast. Quoad Well-Known Member Apr 17, 2015 1,108 217 63 #17 Quoad, Jun 23, 2023 Dammit I need to get to sleep but if I can just plan the build for these damned bedside tables, which clearly have a logjam at metal lathes, so I’ll need a billboard in the control room and a new room for three lathes to clear that efficiently, but to ensure good movement I’ll need to move other machines to make doorways and do I need a nearby storage zone… This game is good. Quoad Well-Known Member Apr 17, 2015 1,108 217 63 #18 Quoad, Jun 27, 2023 Ok, so several days on (!) This game is lovely. It is sort of deep. It also has constraints - you hit “late game” quite early on, IMO, and once you’ve essentially built a ridiculous factory MOST tasks become fairly straightforward. The gains after that are tbh a bit limited - I’ve just unlocked a couple of new workstations, ok, that’s sort of nice, do I actually want to think about how to deploy their “2x speed at many actions” in a planning chain that involves multiple stations, one at a time? I could but tbh planning just isn’t that interesting. “Spam some buttons, look for bottlenecks, make new choices or buy new machines.” If I’m entirely honest with myself, the last 5-10hrs have been compulsive. I’m out of new challenges really, it’s now just ticking the boxes of improving client relations and unlocking everything. Good game. Plateaus early. Worth the pennies imo. Quoad Well-Known Member Apr 17, 2015 1,108 217 63 #19 Quoad, Jun 28, 2023 I enjoyed this but, at 25 hours of gameplay, it is time to delete. The fourth client / buyer isn’t revealing his “final challenge” and tbh I’ve lost the will to live I was keeping going for him. But he hasn’t delivered and if I don’t delete it I will be climbing the walls staring at a completely automated factory doing stuff for no continuing purpose or revelations whilst going slowly mad. Love(d) it, would benefit more content imo. paradoxno1 Well-Known Member Nov 16, 2015 143 152 43 #20 paradoxno1, Aug 8, 2024 Now on sale 89 pence in uk store ste86uk likes this.
