Casual, good retro graphics, an enjoyable game. It would be nice though, after beating the boss, if you had the option to continue exploring the rest of the stage. So maybe have a portal appear after beating the boss, and the stage won't finish until you touch it. Tosty Well-Known Member Oct 18, 2014 84 0 6 #13 Tosty, Aug 5, 2015 @Repulsa - I don't mean to discriminate gender or skin colors, at the time I thought of only one character and maybe adding more if the game took off! I appreciate your interest and will most certainly look into adding additional playable characters in the future. @Duke - Thanks for your interest as well. When the game detects an iPhone 4 being used it removes that box for space issues. For some reason it must be thinking your iPad air screen size is similar to that of an iPhone 4. I will definitely look into that as well for the upcoming update I am working on! Thanks for the feedback! What makes me miss though? I'm swinging like mad on guys I'm targeting, even sometimes when there's only one guy, and I miss like 20-30x in a row sometimes. Just starting act IV and it's basically impossible because of the misses. Is it a ranked/connectivity issue? Edit: ok, finished the game. It's a weird bug. While playing, after a few minutes, I start swinging like 2-3x faster. After that happens, it sticks until I reboot the game. It's a crapshoot on whether I can hit enemies... Comes in spurts so I can't tell if it's because the enemies are moving and I'm desync'd, or because I'm swinging too fast and it's mucking something up (sometimes manually slow-clicking lets me sneak hits in when I'm normally missing) frisbee10461 Well-Known Member Feb 16, 2012 360 0 0 #16 frisbee10461, Aug 9, 2015 10 Tips to Get To Level 99 in 4 Hours [or Less] Hello, all! frisbee10461 here! Last night, after the wife and kiddies went to bed [around 8PM], I decided to try this Little Avenger game. After completing Act V, to be honest, the gamification aspect was most appealing. Only the top 10 players have their avatars appear. By 11:30PM or so, I was able to rank Level 99. as a result, I am rated third [bigdaddy10], which is weird that there are nine other big daddies who played this game. So, how did I do it? 1. The cross, man. You'll notice that each level has 14 areas. The boss will always appear on the top, bottom, left, or right. So if you start where you are and go up, then go down, then go back to where you start, then go right, then go left, and make your goal to defeat the Big Boss, as that gives you the most XP, you'll level up pretty quickly. 2. Rinse and repeat. As stated in a previous post, if you find that you are doing minimal damage, shut down your game and bring it back up, and you'll be good to go. 3. Don't buy equipment. You get better equipment in the dungeon. 4. On the other hand, sell your unused equipment. 5. When you can get no more equipment because your 40 slots are occupied, that is the time to equip yourself with the best equipment. 6. Buy the red and purple potions. Forget the blue ones. 7. Don't put any points into MP. This stat is rarely used in the game. 8. The top two skills to get are Armor and Attack. Max out at level 15 for these two skills. 9. Top items to look for in equipment are, as follows [in order]: a. Critical b. HP Regen c. Attack d. Defense 10. If you use your two skills above [Armor and Above], and you hold your finger down on the Sword button, the skills remain in effect much longer. Cronk Well-Known Member Jan 22, 2013 620 0 0 #17 Cronk, Aug 9, 2015 There's a bug that appears to be linked to using both buff skills. If you can, try to not use both. I've switched out the armor one and I'm not getting the attack-speed/desync bug anymore. Dev is aware of it and working on it... Should be fixed for the next patch. Shout-out btw... The music in this game is AMAZING. really gets the blood pumping. Oh and on top of what the guy above me said, focus on upgrading your skills. They're the easiest way to buff your character up. Best use of money in the game (after making sure you have a few health pots) Tosty Well-Known Member Oct 18, 2014 84 0 6 #18 Tosty, Aug 11, 2015 Hi Frisbee, I tip my hat to you for leaving such an in-depth review and "How-to" play the game. Thank you for spending your time and most of all enjoying what I have created. I have taken note of your points and will look to re-balance the game using your feedback. Same to you Cronk, thank you for providing me with great feedback in order to improve the user experience. I will fix the "glitch" where using both boost skills at the same causes some attacking issues. This will all be handled in the next update. I am currently working on a medium-sized update to be done within the next 2 weeks, some features will include: -Increase leader board spotlight section. (As user-base grows the spotlight ranks will slightly increase) -New level with harder monsters/bosses -New items to go with the new level -Additional "player" levels to go beyond 99 + -General game balances Once again, thank you. I will update this thread as I come closer to finishing the update. frisbee10461 Well-Known Member Feb 16, 2012 360 0 0 #19 frisbee10461, Aug 11, 2015 Other Suggestions There are other things I would suggest: 1. How about adding player names to some of the monsters in the game? Come on, who wouldn't want to square off against Big Daddy? I think having your top 10 players who reach a certain level also appearing in the game will add an extra incentive. 2. Add a Wizard class. Presently, you can be only a Warrior. If that is true, eliminate the Type column, as it makes no sense to have everyone appear as Warrior. 3. [SUBLIMINAL TIP] How about adding player names to some of the monsters in the game? Come on, who wouldn't want to square off against Big Daddy?[/SUBLIMINAL TIP] 4. Make the weapons you purchase more powerful than the ones you can get for free in the dungeon. 5. Make the blue potions mean something. Presently, you don't need them as the spells you use do not use much MP. 6. Have a Comparison feature, so if I select a piece of equipment, it should display a green upward arrow, if the equipment is an improvement, or a red downward arrow if the equipment is not worth using. 7. Better yet, as nobody would want to wear lesser equipment, all lesser equipment you get should be sold automatically. This way, the only equipment you see is equipment that is an improvement. 8. Same goes for the merchant [steps 6 and 7]. 9. If your maximum level is 99 [presently], the maximum level of your equipment should not be 20. 10.
