I'm just pointing out that there are free ways to message other iPhone users without having to send a sms.
Carcassonne is coming to game center! Just read it on their twitter page. @nikf it's on our agenda, but "next few weeks" might be overly optimistic. (I finally signed up just to add this to the list! First post!) edit: you can also chat/message through Carcassonne, but it would be different if Apple did it i guess...
One interesting thing i just found out: If you delete a GameCenter game, you get asked if you want to delete it off of GameCenter too. If you don't, the game will still be visible in GC but there will be no "Play" button. If you do, however, your achievements will be deleted, but if you install the game again, the achievements previously earned, will come back again.
Yes. As far as I could see from the developer-video's, you have to design your own "you got an achievement, yay you" popups. It's just a little silly not do to it if you ask me.
Game Center compatibilty, like multitasking, should be default requirements, when making apps 'iOS4 compatible'.
Looks like Apple is getting ready to push some of the updates to the App Store. Field Fencer's status is now set to Processing for App Store, and should be available soon after that
