List Of Game Center Apps

I'm updated to 4.1 but there really isn't much you can do with it right now, until they start pushing out some updates for games. None of mine need updates as of now though, so I guess we'll just have to wait.

 

Also, anyone else notice that if you click 'find game center games' it just opens up safari and takes you to their game center preview page. Not particularly useful, I assume this will redirect to either the app store or an actual descriptive list of games at some point.

 

We should be seeing a flood of updates to games soon.

From what I understand the games have already been cleared for submission. They just had to wait for the release of game center

 

Are the nicknames unique? I chose a very common one, my name, Garrick. I mean, the accounts are tied to an email address, which must be unique, so maybe the nicknames don't have to be.

Just curious.

I would think they are unique. We just got Crazy lucky. I scored "Geb". I have never been able to get my first name because it is three letters.

 

Zentomino will have Game Center achievements as soon as Apple releases the update. Was approved several days ago.

 

I couldn't get Bryan even when I had the GM

So I'm using BryanM , I decided since it will be people I actually know, I should use my real name

 

So now that iOS 4.1 has been released, there's no NDA anymore.

I was wondering, is there a set number of points per game or is that totally up to the developers?

Great to see Zentomino getting game center. I hope that a lot of the games that held off from the other social networks will jump on Game Center. I just hope some of the existing open feint, crystal, plus guys will integrate too….

 

Current limitations are 25 Leaderboards, 100 achievements and 1000 achievement points per App.

Yep, Zentomino is kind of a test case for us. We'll see if there's any interest in its initial Game Center additions.

My only concern with Game Center games is that users that have 1st gen devices and the iPhone 3G will be left out, while all the other major social gaming network offering support all models. Also, I haven't seen its landscape mode. Does it have one?
