Noticed that this mourning. No way of viewing achievements and leaderboards from inside the app though.

Did you notice that eurosport just got game center. It's not even a game. There only using it for a chat server. Lag us up eurosport, We want to play a game but can't because people want to talk about football. I bet apple will force them to drop GC support by this time next week.

I highly doubt that Apple will force them to drop GC support. Not only did they already approve the GC support within this app, and not only is our culture moving toward heavy gamification of everything already, but there are already other apps using the matchmaking feature for non-gameplay (Free Voice and Video Blast, recently, though there have been a few others over the past week). I don't think it's a bad thing, personally. There's no real "lag" issue here - the matchmaking servers only make the match, passes off the info to the app, which then uses the device's own internet connection to establish a link between it and the match. Apple's servers never come into play at this point.
