Wednesday night g5e will release Magician's Handbook: Cursed Valley--looks like part HoG, part adventure and part match-3 of all things.

Is the Redemption game listed a little bit ago the Big Fish Redemption Cemetery game?

  4. That game with awful reviews, Speed Escape: Chamber, is free now. Can't hurt to check it out.

Hmm what Redemption game? BigFish has been lacking lately:( although I did finish Faring Point yesterday in just under 5 hrs lol I also finished Haunted Mansion: Queen of Spades. The Awakening series is still my favorite. What's everyone else playing?

    Currently I'm playing the following:

Jeff Wayne's Musical Version of The War of The Worlds: Minigame Adventure - I've only played the first chapter of this one so far, which actually plays out like an adventure / HoG, but apparently each chapter is a completely different mini-game. I've enjoyed it so far, and if you're looking for something a bit out of the norm it might be worth your while. Unfortunately at the moment it's $4.99 with no lite version.

Lost In The City HD - I've really been enjoying this one. Sadly it was too new to make Big Fish Games' holiday sale, and I'm too cheap to pay the $4.99 price tag for the full version, especially knowing that it will go on sale some day. Thankfully I haven't run out of free game yet.

The Magician's Handbook - I'm liking this one so far. It's mostly HoG, and I'll admit that I wish I had asked for the iPad version when requesting a review copy, but I'm getting along pretty well on my iPod Touch. The back story is amusing and the hidden object screens are challenging yet not insurmountable. Not quite sure how I feel about the mini-games yet, but overall the game has been pretty fun.

  9. Ahh, I mentioned the Jeff Wayne game before, but am also too cheap to drop $5 on a game without trying it first. May have to wait for it to go on sale, but nice to know it's worthwhile.

I loved Gobliiins on my PC, but never really did get into the iOS port. As for The Hysteria Project, I've played part 1 something like 3 times and part 2 twice, so yeah, they're worth it :)

If you like the puzzle type found in many adventure games where you have to put a photo or jigsaw puzzle back together, I have to recommend Patchworkz by Big Fish. It gives you a ton of puzzles to put back together and lots of different mediums to work with (glass, wood, & stone are what I have unlocked so far). I really like this mechanic and am having a blast with the game!

  14. I got Hysteria Project when it was free but never finished it. You have to be in the right mood for it. I keep meaning to go back to it. And yeah, I saw the second one on sale. I may just buy it.

@pepper2427-thanks for the answer about Redemption. It was making me a bit nuts.

  18. I got excited because I saw a G5 game went on sale for free. Then I realized it's just a time-management game :(

What's wrong with time management games?
