Not showing Tintin on sale in the UK but I'm sure it will go down to 69p at some stage in the future. Gameloft games usually do

  3. Hmm... Had TinTin gone on sale two days ago, I probably would have snatched it up. But after what happened to my paid version of HoS2 yesterday, I'm wary of purchasing any new GL games.

At a guess, it went free? Hate it when that happens. Just checked TinTin on the Uk store and it has reduced in price - to 69p!!

  5. Didn't just go free -- they put ads in it!
Ugh TinTin for 99 cents? I don't think my resolve is strong enough to resist that.

Get it bought - A Xmas pressie to you from you

  7. Lol. That's a cheap present ;). I was just trying to avoid Gameloft on principle -- don't like their recent activities.

At the mo it is still showing as $4.99 on US app store but it has only just been released there. Been out here for a while now. If you want it, it will be a Xmas gift from me to you

  9. No no that's ok. Thanks for the offer, but I can wait and buy it for 99 cents :).
I'm in the process right now of backing up my iPhone and updating it to iOS 5, so wouldn't be able to play yet anyway ;).

Okie Dokie but the offer is there - gotta love christmas

My other half has had nothing but problems with ios5 but i haven't had any. Took forever to download and update so I wonder if he took his phone off sync before it had finished. Hope all goes well with it

Should be a new freebie Idac game out tonight - lovely. Son has now finished school for the holidays so I will have to lock him in a cupboard tomorrow so I am not disturbed

I loved episode 1 of Path Of The Dragon. Then I started to play episode 2 and got turned off by the shear amount of reading / dialogs you had to go through before actually getting to do anything. Felt like the first act of the Chateau game :)

Well I wish I could offer better advice on how to get around what you experienced, because despite the fact that I'm at a point where I can only play for a few minutes at a time and then have to let my energy rebuild for several hours, I'm still quite addicted to the game. And, I have as yet to dump any real money into it.

just need your uk itunes thingy to send it to

  14. Thanks :)

I was up till 3am last night trying to manually back everything up just in case iTunes screws up. iPhone Explorer doesn't work for contacts, notes, etc, so I was looking for another program that would. And somewhere along the way I downloaded a virus :/. Love my iPhone, but what reasoning could Apple possibly have for not simply letting us copy/past our contacts, notes and SMS log onto a PC/drive like we can for photos?

Man, you're like an iTunes-laden Santa Claus! It's a wonderful thought, but I wouldn't feel right. Not to mention the fact that I'm just a poor U.S. slob, so I don't have a U.K. account anyway. Besides, by the time I would get a chance to play it I'm sure it will be free for a day anyway

I still don't understand iTunes. I have everything written down just in case I lose everything. Had an issue about 3 months ago where it wouldn't turn on. Felt sick because its amazing how much i use it. See someone on tv but can't remember what I have seen them in IMDB it. Wikipedia about actors and things all the time - Be very good at Trivial Pursuit now as I have loads of useless facts stored in my barin. My iphone has turned me into an anorak

While it's probably flawed reasoning, I think their main belief was that by keeping it a closed system they could prevent the introduction of viruses. Sounds great, but it also keeps people from doing practical things with their devices... like backing them up.

Is nobody getting into the Christmas spirit lol. Everybody needs to get a UK itunes account so you can get the 12 days of Christmas app. I don't think you have it on the US app store

Was that back at the iOS 5 Facebook update? Can't remember if it was that long ago, but same thing happened to me. Opening iPhone Explorer and plugging my iPhone into my PC was the only thing that got it to turn on. Another all-nighter.

Makes sense -- they don't let you move photos onto it, only off. iTunes really needs to be more *open* with its users. Like, show me exactly what a backup looks like so I know it's all there before I restore!

Yeah, what's with that? Why don't we get that app?

Edit: Omg, Malwarebytes is telling me iExplorer (formerly iPhone Explorer) is a virus!

So how exactly do you sign up for an account in an different country? I know people have done it, but I haven't the slightest clue.
